One Month To Go…

7.3.11 - Watkins Glen (Graham Lucas)

I’ll be back tomorrow with a new post and a Hampton/Winston-Salem Box Set giveaway! In the meantime, here is some listening music from this day in Phish history.

Ghost” 11.28.97 II,Worcester, MA

This silky-smooth rendition greeted the post-Thanksgiving crowd in Worcester ’97.

Tweezer” 11.28.98 II, Worcester, MA

A relatively straightforward version from the least significant show of Worcester’s three-night, tour-closing stand in ’98.

Seven Below > Ghost” 11.28.09, Albany, NY

When this sequence dropped two years ago tonight, it was nothing short of a revelation for a jam-deprived fan base of Fall ’09.

    You son of a…….

  2. EL Duderino Says:

Rex probably would have too Tela’s..

Orton would be my choice but KC picked him up

  3. tela'smuff Says:

Caleb needs to start Tebowing some. we need all the help we can get.

Felt really bad for the kid yesterday. Just looked way over his head. Scared. Terrible decisions when he was pressured. And as usually seemed like Martz didn’t get the proper play calling going from an offensive perspective.

Figured maybe the kid could give it a go, but damn he looked terrible.

  5. Robear Says:

Duder, really tough break re Cutler. He was looking good with Bennett back in the line up.

Texans and Bears’ fans have lots to be sad about.

Lions fans? Same as it ever was, only this year we were given the illusion of hope. Kind oflike Obummer……

  6. poop goblin Says:

    and the rich get richer

  7. Guyute711 Says:

At least Obummer hasn’t stomped on us while we were down, or has he?

  8. Phuzzy Says:

@ MIA— No worries at all. Was just messing with ya to have an excuse to dog Yanni and Buble. I’m sure it was the live, in the moment, effect that made the show better to my ears. Haven’t listened back at all and haven’t listened to much of anything else from the tour. It was nice to see Trey on my home turf. Hoping he really enjoyed playing at the SOS music park and that it paves the way for a possible festival or multi show run there at some point in the future. The park can probably hold a maximum of 25K which seems a little small, but, if they are only pulling 30-40K w/ an unlimited space, I could see that working there. Would be pretty sweet imho.

  9. EL Duderino Says:

Fairly is kind of a let down it seems…

Suh needs to cut the shit.

  10. tela'smuff Says:

Defense looked great though. also surprised how much they went to Barber, although i really like him as an option. i felt everybody showed up to play, but Caleb couldn’t handle the pressure up the middle.

  11. EL Duderino Says:

Oakland was smart not to kick to Hester

  12. Mr palmer Says:

This kid on Arizona is on pace to shatter Hester’s return records.

Kid has 4 punt returns over 80 yards. Sick

  13. Guyute711 Says:

Barber seems to be coming on a little bit.

  14. Mr palmer Says:

I wouldn’t kick to either of them.

  15. poop goblin Says:

D looked pretty soft to me

    Oakland just couldn’t finish

they’d just shut down in the red zone. driving all over that D though

  16. Kaveh Says:

it’s actually Skips way of giving a back handed compliment to Rodgers IMO.

    ^ Interesting.

  17. voopa Says:

Yeah halcy, love my NAS. Went with WD because I have a Dell account, and that’s what they had. Don’t have any experience with any others.

Just checked, now they’re not selling it anymore. Hmm…just hope I can upgrade the 4 1TB drives to 2TB’s when I need to (probably next year!).

  18. tela'smuff Says:

oakland couldn’t get in the endzone until the end. we we’re stuffing the run pretty well. we’ve given up passing yards all season, as our strength is redzone D. but we can’t be expected to keep it up all game, the offense needed to help us out. Palmer threw for 300 yds and an INT, no TD’s. Bush ran for 69 yds on 24 carries. nothing great there. Caleb just gave them field position.

  19. Robear Says:

Duder, I agree we didn’t need fat ass, under achieving Fairley with that pick. We needed a dominant o lineman or defensive back there.

Suh looks so bad for his denial of his actions. It’s one thing to lose your cool. It’s another to argue against blatant fact like a first grader.

  20. bob dylan Says:

MiA, only thing I don’t like about pre-setup raids is that if one fails you gotta toss the whole thing. Would rather buy two and daisy chain em they FireWire. It’s like having a tv/VCR combo and the VCR breaks. Kinda..

  21. Robear Says:

G$, I’d say we’ve been stomped and head slammed by Obummer in his own special ways.

  22. bob dylan Says:

Honestly if I had the cash I’d just get a drobo with 4 terabyte or 2terabyte drives.

  23. EL Duderino Says:

“It’s another to argue against blatant fact like a first grader.”-Robear

    So True!

  24. EL Duderino Says:

I’m not sure if this is true, but can’t you get an external housing that’ll fit up to like 5 HD’s, with a cooling fan?

    Bob dylan?

  25. Robear Says:

Duder, I’ve had that argument with a first grader.

Robear “Why did u hit him?”
    Young Suh “I didn’t”
Robear “I just watched you raise your hand and hit him in the head”
YS ” It was an accident”
