VIDEO OF THE DAY: “Jennifer Dances” 12.7.99 II
One of the three December ’99 performances of the much-maligned tune. I’ve always wondered, “What’s not to like?”
I’m just sittin here watchin the wheels go round and round, I really love to watch them roll. love me some solo Lennon.
Listened to Bag > Slave while making dinner with the slf tonight. She dug it more than other long jams I’ve put on (maybe it was the CD qualiy?) we ate, then had beverages.
$$$
97 Phish would’ve slayed Fame by Bowie and Lennon.
@BB I just scored a 30th! 400 level, but whatever. Up top in MSG can be fun ! I was upstairs behind the stage for the 12/30/95… After all of this time, that one still stands up to everything else I’ve seen live.
that ticker, on the top of the page, looks sexy with the days in the teens

FZ: Good night!
John Lennon: Good night, thank you!
Yoko Ono: Thank, thank you
John Lennon: We’d like to thank Frank for having us on here
Yoko Ono: Yeah, he’s great, isn’t he? He’s the greatest . . .
If anyone saw glowing hot pink shirts at the Gorge or in Denver that read “Jennifer Dances” on them that was us, I think we had close to 50 at the Gorge. Look for mine behind the stage at MSG – you can’t miss it!
A little less salt, in the gravy tonight!
see y’all at MSG!!!!
I’m going to intentionally put a kink in here.
