Hidden Track

As I’ve been busy shipping book and not updating the site, a couple different interviews I did have posted to the web. First, I took part in Hidden Track’s Writer’s Workshop— a broad and in depth interview with Ryan Dembinsky about my blog, writing philosophy, my book and Phish.

Additionally, I did a Q & A with Charlie Dirksen of that was specifically focused on Phish Thoughts—The Book. (With a brief aside about Trey’s “Taste” tease in 7.17.’98’s “Weekapaug” jam.) Check ’em out!

BOOK SHIPPING UPDATE: All domestic orders have processed and will be shipped as of today! I am going to begin figuring out the international ones—hang tight! You can be sure now, if you order a book now, that it will ship the same day or the following day at the latest. Thanks for your support and I, sincerely, hope everyone who ordered a book enjoys it during the holiday season and beyond!

The Seven Below>WTU gets the approval. Nice
I remember KWL and I getting back to the hotel after this show, jumping on the computer to DL the show and he turns to me and says, “Seven Below was only 9 minuters or so.” Honestly, it felt like so much more. What a great little “compacted’ jam.

  3. Highway Bill Says:

….I come from the north where the oceans freeze, spent three long months on the open seas.

How was I to know that day that the wind would blow me Wilsons way?

    Love that wind.

  4. st8 of mind Says:

  5. gunslinging parrot Says:

  9. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

nice interviews recently, miner. and thanks as always for the wonderful jamz.

no year end would be complete without best of, worst of, greatest this, and least that of the year. And this compilation of wonderfully FAIL filled stuff hits the sweet spot.

  10. DryIceFactory Says:

    Ah yes, The Real Bathtub.

  11. HarryHood Says:

We will be able to buy a book at the pre/post show party on the 29th right?

  15. DryIceFactory Says:

This Bathtub makes me wish we could get one to go big(ger). MSGin? Hopefully theres more to discuss on that in 12 days.

  16. DryIceFactory Says:

  18. litteringand Says:

Its been awhile so I’ll throw out a random comment- The Superball Tweezer is pure fire, so says my itunes by the number of times I’ve listened to it.

  19. Guyute711 Says:

    Your itunes indicator is correct.

  20. BingosBrother Says:

That is what your balls look like after 300 shows. Can’t believe Miner took a picture of his. Very NSFW.

  21. Beaten Worker Says:

Pretty good article on what to expect for the NYE run. I particularly liked this part….

“I can’t think of a better place for “Steam” to get the jam-treatment it deserves than at MSG. The thought of the band emerging from the literal steam and landing in a psychadelic, thermin-laced journey gives me chills”

    Uhhh, chill worthy indeed!

  22. DryIceFactory Says:

@Littertingand Your iTunes indicator is definitely correct. I just remember they would come out of the stop-start and I was getting that “aha!” feeling where I could tell they were absolutlely tapping into my brain receptors and realizing all that was needed was more. Such a fun exploration of Tweezer. Maybe it wasnt as musically coherent as Dick’s, but it was certainly unexpected. And awesome.

  23. angryjoggerz Says:

    8 days!

  24. Phamily Berzerker Says:

    Phish Phast holding steady.

I have not listened to this much GD since the early 90s!

  25. Kaveh Says:

    Morning BBers!

Got my book last night…and I kid you not, you could do arm curls with this beast. Looking forward to taking the plunge in the book tonight.
