Hidden Track

As I’ve been busy shipping book and not updating the site, a couple different interviews I did have posted to the web. First, I took part in Hidden Track’s Writer’s Workshop— a broad and in depth interview with Ryan Dembinsky about my blog, writing philosophy, my book and Phish.

Additionally, I did a Q & A with Charlie Dirksen of that was specifically focused on Phish Thoughts—The Book. (With a brief aside about Trey’s “Taste” tease in 7.17.’98’s “Weekapaug” jam.) Check ’em out!

BOOK SHIPPING UPDATE: All domestic orders have processed and will be shipped as of today! I am going to begin figuring out the international ones—hang tight! You can be sure now, if you order a book now, that it will ship the same day or the following day at the latest. Thanks for your support and I, sincerely, hope everyone who ordered a book enjoys it during the holiday season and beyond!

  2. Wilson123 Says:

@bobdylan totally agree with the calmness hometown shows bring. Dont have my usual pre-run jitters, ready to straight rage.

  3. Dr Pronoia Says:

great point Bob. I have a full day with family and then hop the train for a 5 min ride to the Garden

    couldn’t be less stressful

  4. Jtran Says:

I hope everybody had a good Christmas. I just got through the introduction of “the book” and I just want to say that it was extremely well done. The total Phish experience couldn’t have been stated any better or insightfully. Off to a great start here Miner. Can’t wait to dig in to the rest of it. Congratulations Miner.

Yeah I also have no wishlist for MSG except for jams, jams, jams.

  11. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

I remember last year telling robear at the booth of every set break “golden age coming up”.

  12. Robear Says:

Df, we may need u @ the booth this year.

Looks like I’m pulling the plug. Life getting in the way of Phishing again. SLF still going.

  13. tela'smuff Says:

Sorry to hear that news Robear. Hang tight and we’ll see ya on couch tour.

Anybody ever try to stream simulcast through their PS3?

  14. willowed Says:

    Hey boys,

Any of you guys getting together at local pub? I think Mr. P and I will be grabing a stool at Local West. Right across the street from MSG and located right next to a nice back door into the venue. Easy in, no lines

I know it’s a heavy travel day so meet ups are pretty tough.

I think I should be there by 4 or so.

  15. willowed Says:

    I understand though.

I hope there is still hope I see you.

  16. Robear Says:

entire house and shop tore up. contractors working all week. i really need to be here to work, and answer questions. lost for words. it is, what it is.

  17. Robear Says:

all you Cali heads may as well drive up here for the streams…….

  18. Dr Pronoia Says:

fuck robear, that sucks. was looking forward to seeing you, like a lot of folks I’m guessing

    from the new yorker:

Dec. 28-31: Phish, Vermont’s finest export since the invention of maple syrup, has been around for nearly thirty years, and will soon surpass the longevity of the Grateful Dead, the band it has been said to most closely resemble, at least in spirit. The band first played here on New Year’s Eve in 1995, and since then the funky, jazz-happy, improv-mad foursome has made a holiday tradition of returning to this fabled venue to stretch its musical imagination.
