So wait, was the Bodyguard’s name Hugh? As in “I will always love Hugh”…?

  2. angryjoggerz Says:

Glad to see UIC move back into the #1 spot after the dick love. I mean, Dicks was a great run for sure, but UIC was both figuratively and literally the heat.

  3. thedayman Says:

i have to think it’s one of the best since the return. i’m biased for having been there, but its pretty hot. even steam after the undermind has a pretty nasty jam. hood is pretty soaring in the encore spot taboot

  4. Mike in Austin Says:

UIC was my favorite running 3.0 No question.

  5. Mike in Austin Says:

    Wolfmans.

  6. thedayman Says:

the UIC wolfmans was one of the most cathartic experiences of my life, felt like i was levitating during that jam. wonderful stuff.

  7. angryjoggerz Says:

UIC was not only amazing musically, but was a great bb moment too. Everywhere I went there was bb crew, from the possee’d up section in front of the board, to gd in the dance section. Rick Bayless knows.

  8. angryjoggerz Says:

That GA floor was the business.

  9. Mike in Austin Says:

Yeah it was. Great venue. Nice access, etc. definitely would do it again.

  10. vegas wolfmans Says:

UIC #3 is a crappy show giving Dick’s the slight edge IMO). I listen to those two runs, Bethel, and Super Ball over the shows I attended last summer (Gorge, Tahoe, Outside Lands). Although I do agree with all of the Gorge RnR hype- undeniable, I’m less enthusiastic about Tahoe Light than most. Think Berkeley Light from last summer is far more intriguing.

this site def re-set my perspective on Phish. used to go to shows, wait for my fav tunes and bitch and complain/drink/smoke during others…never really “listened” to most songs/jams until Miner’s reviews helped me find the groove, and linked me to lots of other live gems. Went to 3.0 shows with more purpose…very worthwhile. TYMM.

guy Ben from Parks and Rec tonight “I’m not afraid of cops. I have no reason to be. I never break any laws, ever, because I’m deathly afraid of cops!”

  13. joemeg Says:

Love Tahoe light but I agree Berkeley light is better. I think I might like Manchester light better too

  14. vegas wolfmans Says:

Good call on the Manchester Light, Joe. I recently upgraded to the Kevorkian of that show and don’t think I’ve spun it since. I’m goin’ in.

    PEACE

    Chula Boogie On. Yes.

  15. plord Says:

    What joe said.

Greek>Manch>Tahoe for me too. although those > are really “very slightly greater thans.”

  16. Tom Says:

    I’d add SBIX light

    Greek>Tahoe>Manch>Sbix

  17. Mike in Austin Says:

    I Liked UIC #3

Disliked the Ghost. The rest was great to me.

  18. vegas wolfmans Says:

Augusta Light is pretty dark (in a good way). Seems that song could do no wrong during fall ’10. Gorge ’09 Light with calypso outtro was pretty badass too. Which reminds me, where is Mr. Completely?

  19. lumpyhead Says:

MiA, would you send me night 3 UIC please?

  20. garretc Says:

“Which reminds me, where is Mr. Completely?”

    TAB tour, fool.

Oh, you meant OUR Mr. Completely… Definitely NOT TAB tour…

  21. sumodie Says:

I prefer the dark Lights, which means Greek Light doesn’t rank as high in my world

not that I dispute the Greek version. But I’ll take Tahoe, Manch, and Augusta any day

now that I’ve said that, of course I want to hear the Greek version

how long till every lossless phish show can fit on a single ipod nano?

  22. lumpyhead Says:

why would you not be shutting the fuck up during this Fee?

  23. Guyute711 Says:

Was finished with Umphreys and found a bustling lot scene. Blaaaaaaaaaaah.

  24. Guyute711 Says:

    This place stinks

  25. Mr.Miner Says:

awesome to hear the reflections on how this place has effected people’s Phish experiences and lives in a way. Really cool…I’m humbled. Glad ya’ll dig the book…
