Five More From Summer ’95
Let’ start the week off with another dip into the primordial psychedelia of Summer ’95—the band’s most experimental tour ever.

“Mike’s Song” 6.20 II, Cuyahoga Falls, OH
This menacing version descended upon Blossom, leaving many wide-eyed fans wondering what had just happened.

“Tweezer > Gumbo” 6.28 II, Wantagh, NY

kid in the Messi Barcelona jersey had great weed at SPAC though. Think of him anytime I see a soccer highlight with the real Messi. Saw someone at Galactic the other night with the same shirt on. wanted to go up to him to see if he was holding.
I like soccer for the no commercials and that you can half pay attention until you hear the crowd or announcer get excited and then you can look up from whatever you were doing to see them with a minor scoring chance.
is the source for this split the same fm broadcast from the archive?
or there is a leg 2 between bill graham and dicks?
yes, he previously said there will be a run of shows from BG to Dick’s (~Aug 18 thru Labor Day weekend), just no Gorge
@AW
I’m not an American, I’m a citizen of the world, maaaaaaaaaaannnnnn.
Bill graham is a sick venue. If its 2 nights I’ll be there
sweet. I am very curious as to what the west coast dates will be like, as this is the first tour with myself living on the west coast.
I’m a white trash American. what can I say.
the rich white east coast and middle eastern kids at work like to watch their soccer though at work and I dig it too. not enough to get into it cuz the diving and the cool haircuts are just too crazy but def fun to watch over creating excel models and conference calls.
Well, as long as you’re not in the “soccer is gay” camp, I think we can still be internet friends…
I mentioned this documentary a little while back: http://thespiritmolecule.com/
Def worth checking out.
word rooster. watched it a couple weeks ago. showing it to some friends on thursday.
I literally just finished watching that rooster
I am really into the part about cohesiveness of the 1960s when everyone was experimenting with LSD. Civil Disobedience of all kind. Then we get the fucking “Just say no” campaign. How about “Just say know”?
jones beach is the worst.
especially for fourth of july.
Mother I want to cook you breakfast, then I’d like to borrow the car.
Just say Mao
Couch wakeup after skateboarding on Monday at lunch. Im sore as fuck. Old is lame.
True to my word (for once), I relistened to the Woosta-paug tonight…definitely worth checking out, fellow travelers.
woosta hood!
Damn this Bobby Hutcherson album is fly! “San Francisco,” great name…
I believe this was another AW rec? Thanks man, it seems like all the good music I pick up these days comes from you…
More soccer Jerseys at all the Phish shows I’ve been to since the return. Fact! Iif only the national team could compete with the rest of the world, it would have a much bigger draw then it does now. Sounders in Sea will draw 38,000 a game at least this season. Pretty impressive. What’s this hooey about no Gorge?
@ElJefe
I’m excited, me and my buddy are going all in on Portland Timbers fandom this coming season. We looked into season tickets, but didn’t want to deal with the waiting list…
Gar- Are you new to PDX? That Stadium is awesome, great energy. Great support too. Sounders have 2 games down there this year. Gotta get to one of em. I can try to help you w/ tix up here but they will be hard to come by. I work in an English Football pub and we show all the Sounders and Prem games. If you come up swing by.
@Jef
Well, last year was my first year going to school up here, but it’s only within that past year that I fell in love with soccer, so MLS games didn’t even cross my mind this past season. We’ll have to meet up if you make it down next year for the rivalry match!
And I don’t know the next time I’ll be in Seattle, but that sounds like a splendid way to spend my time while I’m there! Makes sense why you’re up to date on the football talk…
Gar- wait till all the lingo and cockney rhymes come out! The Sea-PDX rivalry is pretty intense. Seen a little bit of the psuedo hooliganism in both towns. Small but feisty contingent on both sides. Prolly no worse than an average drunken NFL game.
hey westies. great show so far by Greensky. Had to leave at set break, school night. Already in a really jammy mood. Second set should be fun, after the Humboldt session during set break. Michigan crew in the house. night.
dates tomorrow
