When I saw needles littering the ground at Big Cypress it finally hit me how deep into the scene it became. Then everywhere I turned I heard it for sale. Same with Special K.

Watch out with the drug they say will be the greatest drug you’ve ever taken.

  4. Calpain Says:

it’s nice that they are kicking down the 3 shows for $150 dealio. AC has all the makings for success, as Gd mentioned.

  5. sumodie Says:

duder, guyute texted me earlier today about the Chelsea Pub -very psyched y’all are heading north

great to hear Hoedown giving props to the Chelsea Inn, since he’s an AC local. Chill vibe, not at all whacked out for AC’10 like the Tropicana next door. I’ve no idea what the AC summer season vibe will be like tho, but Phish is sure to add a nice ‘delic glaze

  6. Kaveh Says:

Anyone doing the Worcester shows? Lodging options? Anyone flying into Boston? Just throwing this out there. Might try to make this happen. Of course, it is early. Thanks BBers.

  7. Mike in Austin Says:

AC is gonna be the big blast off for summer.

    They open with Rift.

  8. lumpyhead Says:

    They should open with axilla.

But hopefully they will have already taken care of that in worcester.

  9. El Duderino Says:

    Yep! lookin’ forward to this.
If there is no west coast to east (atl, char, and raleigh) thing happening, this will definitely be it for awhile

  10. El Duderino Says:

Axilla II just to mix it up a little… another that’s been kinda too frequent

  11. sumodie Says:

Closest Woosta hotels will be filling up fast (use google maps to find). Best look ASAP if you really need to be close. With no traffic Boston is just under an hour away, Hartford just over an hour

(not that I recommend staying in Hartford, but Bradley Airport is just north of the city and is a much better airport than Boston’s Logan)

  12. Robear Says:

    Hey Ya’ll, Stash here,
So this week is the Discovery museums biggest fundraiser event, THE PERILOUS PLUNGE. this event helps to raise funds to keep the Discovery Museum of Eureka.
The Discovery Museum is a non-profit children’s museum that offers interactive exhibits and thematic programs. Discovery Museum exhibits and programs promote hands-on, open-ended discovery in the areas of science, art, culture and technology.
so each pledger’s minimum to raise is $150. so in one week and three days Robear and I will take the PLUNGE into the depths of our Humboldt Bay. For our labors Robear and myself will get a jump in the bay and a luxurious sit in a hot tub and beverages.
If anyone would like to Help the kids of Humboldt keep their Discovery Museum, please go to http://www.discovery-museum.org. there you can go and fill in who you are sponsoring and for how much. anything helps.
so Sponsor Us (Robert Gale/ Ashley Matson)

…..yee haw! Its the most wonderful time of the year!

  15. Kaveh Says:

Just checked flights; Boston is a pretty cheaper option for airfare. Car rental is another issue too. That is why I have asking to see if anyone else is making plans. But, thanks @sumodie, I do appreciate it.

I am truly impressed by people who kick drug/alcohol/anything addictions. That shit is hard. I hope that those of you on here who have done it can take a moment from time to time and be proud of yourself for making it through. Awesome.

@gdad – def stoked we got some dates.. can start planning some vacation time now.

i have been living in saratoga springs for almost 2 years so the three shows at spac will be nice.
