I have been sucked into a hopelessly intractable hoovering of music by The Police today.

Jesus Christ but Andy Summers is a wizard. Let’s just start there. He makes this twisted finger-breaking shit sound effortless.

I am not a drummer but I assume the same is true of Copeland. and as much as he’s a wanker, as a certified scholar of the English literature canon, I have to give Sting props for making 15 year old girls soak up references to Shakespeare, Nabokov, Auden, and the Romantics.

    So that’s my day.

Grounded in weather here at Logan. Nothing refreshes me like remote cape cod and this time with family.

Last nite and this am over brunch some of my Phish crew were talking and the SF shows are really being called out as the destination. Who knows how the band will play….most of the talk was about what a great city SF is and how fun 3 packs are and of course…7k person venue! Hmmmmm.

  25. Gavinsdad Says:

^i countered with dicks ga field but my old gd/Phish friends were like “dude.”

I havent been to SF since leaving it for rehab in spring of 93. Hmmmmm.
