“Mike’s Song -> Breathe Jam ” 10.25.95 II, St.Paul, MN
A relic from the day when “Mike’s Song” had jams. In this Fall ’95 incarnation, Trey annihilates the opening segment moving to his mini kit as the band moves further and further into experimental territory. Slipping into abstraction, they pass smoothly into an instrumental interpretation of Pink Floyd’s “Breathe.”

“Simple > McGrupp” 10.26.96 II, Charlotte, NC
This is but one of many standout “Simples” along the road of Fall ’96, and served as the centerpiece of Charlotte’s Fall ’96 stop.

“Weekapaug -> Mango Song” 11.25.94 II, Chicago, IL
Concluding our patchwork “Mike’s Groove,” here is the unique segue and song pairing that followed “Harpua” at UIC in Fall ’94.

“My Left Toe -> Whipping Post” 7.25.99 II, Noblesville, IN
In a stunning piece of first-set improvisation, Phish built their abstract Summer ’99 vehicle into a legit take on the Allman’s classic. This jam came out of nowhere at the beginning of the show at Deer Creek, foreshadowing one of Summer ’99’s best outings.

“Tweezer -> Makisupa” 10.22.95 II, Champaign, IL
Another buck-wild, Fall ’95 throwdown to follow up yesterday’s “Tweezer” from the same tour.

“Stash” 12.5.97 II, Cleveland, OH
Behind the dance-party funk of Fall, “Stash” made a huge splash every time it dropped. Here is the second set opener of the consistently underrated show from Cleveland State. Though this version doesn’t stray too far from structure, it absolutely slays from start to finish.

Cash for your extra cali’s
Nice butter, I’ll almost definitely take one of those off your hands. If BG tickets are gonna be too much of a clusterfuck I might look into traveling elsewhere again which might take LB off the table, but I can let you know, well, soon.
Unless you’re on a strict deadline?
Working on the exchange board now
@Jtran and @garretc – i have 1 lbc floor ptbm at cost of course for each of you
So, I have the hold but no email confirmation from PTBM yet – I guess they go out on a rolling basis …
shut out of west coast venues in my first tour living on the west coast. Makes sense.
Alright, all set
anybody got an extra Long Beach floor to trade for my crapy reserved seat?
Thanks butter, that’s awesome
It’s a tradition unlike any other, lumpy!
Welcome to the club!
Yeah butter, you’re the man.
If you had some BGs to distribute you’d be a god, but “the man” is still a pretty great thing to be!
Nothin says romance like a 2 night honeymoon in woosta
they don’t call it the ‘city of dreams’ for nothing
happy b-day, garret! you share the day with my wife. she’s got a baker’s dozen years on you though.
Thanks TIII! And a happy birthday to Mrs. Disorder, although that may be a strange thing to pass on to her…
“Oh honey, by the way, this kid in Portland say ‘Happy Birthday!'”
“Uhm… Thanks?”
Got a live nation email telling me about Rush playing the Pru Center in Oct.
First concert I ever saw. Hold Your Fire Tour. 1987?
I am considering bringing it full circle. Fuckin Rush!!!!

No Tix this time. Ah well…only put in 2 orders.
this 72 Dark Star vinyl pressing is NICE.
Gotta make plans to come over and listen to that shit for sure pg. Of all the great things I did on vacation, having GD channel on the satellite radio in the rental was the one I’ll miss the most.
love this tweezer here, thanks Mr. Miner
Ah, I remember that Whipping Post. I was dang excited if I remember correctly.
(hate being the back in my day guy, but) They hit that gear like 11 minutes in that they may not have anymore (fishman specifically?)
That whole show , Deer Creek’99, is the boobies.

90’s Mike’s get me excited
