Drowned -> Rock and Roll” 6.29.00 I, Holmdel, NJ

A blistering end-of-set combo as the sun went down in New Jersey.

A classic face-melting extravaganza.

How Goes it bb? ‘liked” Phish Loops, isn’t that MM’s side project? Also, saw a Hardee’s right near The Colliseum early this morning. Make that a stop for the next Hampton run.

Looking back a bit, I’ve made a ton of Phosh ringtones I anyone wants to hit me up.

  5. Jtran Says:

further tickets are the same price as phish? Tough to drop that money on them 5 months in advance. I’m with lumpy. Worth it?

  6. lumpyhead Says:

what show were you considering Jtran? Saturday at the Greek by chance? I’m thinkin I’m in, cause that’s right in the middle of a phish drought.

  7. Jtran Says:

    the show in SD lumpy

  8. angryjoggerz Says:

AW, not sure. Doors at 7, show at 8, so 11 might be a bit late. It is an 18 and over show, so maybe. I was thinking of heading over there earlier because my nanny has to get my kid down at that time and if i am around it is much harder for her.

  9. garretc Says:

Yup, Furthur is definitely worth it. Particularly since you kids are in the same boat as me: never saw the real thing so don’t have much reason to get pissy about fake Jerry.

But yeah, worth it for Phil and Russo alone, and the rest of ’em are pretty solid too. Except the back up singers, I could do without them…

  10. angryjoggerz Says:

Damn, reading back, you folks sure get heavy on a Thu am.

Spun some phish today in car for first time in a while. I’ll tell you what, first time Tube drops this summer, it is summer.

Wife found a large deer tick embedded in our 2 year olds head this morning. Doc said it looked like it was there for a few days. 2 weeks of antibiotics and then a lyme disease test. Sucks ass, but doc seems optimistic it was caught early enough.

Anyone been through this stuff before. Wife is freaking out.

  12. albert walker Says:

ya 10:00 may be more likely. everytime I make an opening band it’s just so painful and aren’t irie anymore before the main act

if you head out but don’t want to go in so early stop by the crib and hit some meds. hit me on email or text.

I’m gonna try to track down a ticket. I think last waltz is maybe thinkin bout going too.

  13. angryjoggerz Says:

Yikes, Mr. P. Will probably be fine, though, and you are doing everything you can, right? Calm blue ocean.

  14. Mr palmer Says:

Yeah AJ. Doc told us what he would do if it was his kid…. We follow along.

  15. kayatosh Says:

stand strong, comrades. life is hard

Threw in the IT DVD for first time in forever. Well done production.

  17. kayatosh Says:

I’m in the TT should anyone need a lift

  18. garretc Says:

Yeah P, I got ticks on the reg as a kid. Should turn out a-ok.

  19. garretc Says:

Yeah Palmer, IT is the only Phish DVD I own so far, but I think it’s quite good. Could use more CK shots and less quick edit close ups though. But that’s pretty much a complaint about any Phish video…

  20. kayatosh Says:

poison ivy was my nemesis as a kid.

  21. Robear Says:

fuckin ticks, poison oak, poison ivy, bee stings, flies buzzing, slipping on wet leaves, sun burn, mosquitoes. the MOSQUITOES!

    environmentalist = sado-masichist!

  22. garretc Says:

Ha, never noticed that before! Trey’s funk breakdown in the 12/29/97 Tube is pretty much a repeat of his breakdown in the Antelope from the first set…

    Consider the source…. 😉

Palmer, there is nothing to do until the results are back. research will drive you insane. Follow the medical professionals guidance.

    Vibe it right!

  24. Robear Says:

really though, P, keep an eye on the spot on her head, and follow the doctor’s orders. do independent research as well. my kids have gone through tick’s out here. little man got one lodged pretty deep once.

  25. lumpyhead Says:

IT dvd is great. The Utica DVD had solid CK shots. I hope the next dvd improves upon that.
