  2. Sir Stewart Wallace Says:

Thought we would see a “Sabotage” in honor of MCA.

Here’s one from The S Show:

  3. MiA Says:

Great choices. Great bob Schneider show. Went and saw selector and 4 guys in fedoras. Which was not their band name.

    Have a great day!

    Morning folks,
So, experiencing the first bitter sting of sports fandom letdown in my entire life, but at the same time sort of a relief. I signed on for one season of basketball watching and I am glad I did. I learned a lot, was able to do sports talk with co workers and strangers for the first time ever, and actually felt semi normal. I think I have learned and experienced enough that I can walk away from it now with a sense of accomplishment and understanding. There were some benefits for sure and def some drawbacks too, mostly time and even energy consumption. Jury still out if there would be a season two, but as it stands, probably not.

I do want to say thanks to the bb for being supportive and encouraging. Up until this year I had never once watched an entire game of any sport, always felt it was stupid or below me. Now I can see the benefits and why people enjoy it (well, not football – that shit is dull as hell, lol).

Thanks, bb! Have a great weekend. Congrats to Philly, great game last night!

  5. Kevin Says:

Yeah! Reba->Carini. I haven’t listened to this in years.

  6. MiA Says:

    Great avatar joggerz!

morning bb technology wizards ::slash:: music snobs

fantastic weekend shaping up out here. city of champions feelin good. glad to hear you enjoyed the bulls aj. watching sports teams can build a sense of community among total strangers faster than fast food. nothing like being on the same page with music taste and concert going but none the less rallying around a sports team can give people the sense of belonging which is key to a balanced life. :end rant:

as for the grab bag….. thanx miner, mansfeild 99 has so many great memories but the ventura 98 show is a hidden gem this week. coming off the greatness of shoreline the night before, ventura had us on our toes. this is the first show of that summer that truly showed us what was in store this summer. sexual healing halleys was a great encore.

  8. btb Says:

These jams look intriguing. All I know is that Cbus Birds goes pretty deep. Thanks!

  9. btb Says:

    Sup with dat Reba clapping?

  10. xpun Says:

great woods 99 was such a good time. this was that set each tour where they throw down a bunch of first set songs they haven’t played yet. cant remember if the tuesdays gone encore was this night or the night before, but im thinking it was this night. last show after being on since nashville, and we went to oswego, setting here thinking, i have no idea why we skipped holmdel??

    have a great day everyone

  11. xpun Says:

  13. Mr. Palmer Says:

good for you Aj. Very cool.

  14. Guyute711 Says:

So after quitting smoking and coffee I have realized I need to eat something in the morning now. I am fucking famished.

  15. willowed Says:

The Page work on this Mansfield Reba is sublime.

And whatever Trza starts doing at the 12:40 mark is topnotch.

  16. willowed Says:

Trza, please bring that lazer plucking sound back. I like it!

  17. SillyWilly Says:

    breakfast is beautiful.

  18. SillyWilly Says:

also, congrats on staying strong on quitting smoking!

  19. stapes Says:

Following in G711’s footsteps and going to the dentist for the first time in about 3 years this morning. Ready just to get it over with and enjoy the rest of the day. Took off from work for the whole day but feel like I may have to go in over the weekend to take care of some last minute bs that has a deadline early next week. Too much shit to do, not enough time.

Non-Phish musical journey this morning = ABB Fillmore East Mountain Jam. Love it. Duane is just soaring at points. Feel like you’re kissing the sky. Get it.

  20. btb Says:

AV 04 -7 is a monster…In hindsight, I’m definitely missing out on some quality PH by discounting all of 2.0.

  21. stapes Says:

Agree with SW on both points. Congrats on no cigs. And bfast certainly is beautiful. Been picking up local farm fresh free range organic yadayadayada eggs lately. Just fried up 2 delicious unborn chickens. Yummy. The yolks on these things are vibrant.

  22. kenny powers Says:

ok so i’ve still never used Spotify (made an account tho) but I can access it via my WD TV medial player, i.e. the good stereo and the HD screen for navigating.

Is there a way to “look up” tunes that other friends have listened to? like how it shows up on Facebook when someone else listens to something, except in the application alone/directly?

seems like a good way to coax me out of Phish addiction every now and then.

  23. kenny powers Says:

I can also just as easily use my iMac and have the sound still go through the speakers…not sure if there’s any advantage/difference over using the app through the WD TV Live.

  24. SillyWilly Says:

    eggs are so good

back when I was more of a kid and didn’t have to be at work in the morning this was my breakfast:

    3 eggs scrambled with cheese
2 pieces of toast with peanut butter and blackberry jam
3 pieces of bacon (for good measure)

and a cup of coffee and big glass of water (gotta stay hydrated, yo)

but that was when I was a kid. before this semester.

  25. stapes Says:

    I must have my eggs.

I feel you SW. When I was out of work a few years back for a couple of months I’d make a big skillet every morning. Potatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, cheese, eggs on top. Get in my belly!
