So happy to see the Mr. C comps show up again, often have kicked myself for not grabbing them all. Many thanks for posting them and to Mr. C for making them!

Also pumped for that Spiritualized show!

I am overwhelmed with new music and this is the best problem of all.

  4. Gavinsdad Says:

Sage and Spirit – Rock Scullys kids names btw

  7. phoammhead Says:

i’m predicting the light will grow brighter – curve of arc upward and onward . . . with a few blips in the road along the way

trey has been engaged in what he’s doing so he will engage with phish this summer

mike has been keeping his chops up

page has a new baby so that’s inspiration enough

fish has been working out . . . apparently

  8. phoammhead Says:

i’m thinking they write new songs this year . . . while touring.

  9. sumodie Says:

Phish cravings on the rise! Loading 7.13.99 Great Woods, 10.10.99 Albany, and 7.02.98 Copenhagen on the pod

Wow, The Wall last night was incredible

That park sitting on the Bay is such a sick sick place to see a mega concert (saw the Stones there too)

At first I was thinking Phish needs to get a three hundred foot wall to project onto, but by the end of the show I decided against that

Some clunkiness by the band, but it’s well masked with all the surround sound effects and overall mind blowing production

I was paticularly impressed and overwhelmed with the feeling of vastness produced by the wall, like everything else was shrinking and disappearing

  13. thedayman Says:

phish needs to throw down some groove this summer for a full on dance party. I want that.

    Yeah Butter

I was in Section 221 Club Level, so fairly close to center but pretty far back (above the home dugout), but there were a few times where I could see everyone on stage clear as a bell and I felt like the only one in the place…like most good shows.

Amazing the effects you can make with a 350 foot wall and 40 HD projectors. Really great visuals tho, seriously.

I thought the band was really good for the most part, but a little disjointed in a couple places. Some of it sounded suspiciously close to the album, but whatever. I’m sure RW isn’t above using some prerecorded music in such a tightly choreographed show, considering all of the other prerecorded stuff.

    “Surprise, surprise, surprise!”

12/13/99 sand is like the quintessential phish jam for me right now. crazy psychadelic sound scapes at the outset, followed by an all out groove clinic, then intense trey led peak at the end. just outstanding. december motherfucking 99.

  16. thedayman Says:

the wall sounds siick. wish i had a chance to check it, sounds like a great time had by all!

  17. tzara's Says:

Slow morning, must be sunny out there. It is here. Just got back from a run around the lake and am enjoying a great breakfast beer Blanche de Bruxelles. Learned about the beauty of White Beer in the morning before the Sunday acoustic set at Indio: perfection.

On a Dead jag with the improved weather. 8/7/82 today. Just right.

  18. Mr. Palmer Says:

anyone want a ‘noid invite code? 1st come…..

  19. Mr. Palmer Says:

Grateful Dead songs i always skip:

Beat it on Down the Line

    Around and Around

    Ship of Fools

    any others?

  20. tzara's Says:

    Mexicali Blues
The early slow Loose Lucys are interminable
Usually Saturday Night too, exactly the same for 25 years

  21. Mr. Palmer Says:

good call on Mexicali. The whole Bobby cowboy suite can get on my nerves. Big River , Me and My Uncle( sometimes)

Don’t Ease Me In is another one that gets the treatment… lol

  22. tzara's Says:

I do like a good lively Big River when Jerry was really gunslinging. Me & My Uncle is fun sometimes if you’re in the mood, but easy to skip too.

Lost Sailor is pretty dated now.

  23. Jtran Says:

    Portland Gin

  24. angryjoggerz Says:

Wait, skip Ship of Fools? I think not. Jerry.

  25. ThePigSong Says:

Would the cheapo Upper tickets be adequate for The Wall? I’m looking at some all the way back in Philips Arena.
