Great stuff dognamedwilson. I understand completely. For years I strive for what you’re saying. Balance. My mantra.

Lately I’ve had to wield the sword of truth against liars and thieves. I’ve done so in balance.

  2. Angryjoggerz Says:

Robear getting all Manjushri about it, dig it.

  4. Robear Says:

    I want that as a tattoo ^

  5. William H. Bonney Says:

Another Favorite lesser known Pink Floyd song “Give Birth to a Smile” (Waters)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daWfgIB0GMQ

Long live the child and the man
Long live the mother and the lad
The hills behind us and the sea
Reach out to welcome you and me
    Valley deep and mountain tall
Lie upon the ground before us all
Strange are the colours of the turf
Heralding the rebirth of the earth
Gather all your energy and try
    Give birth to a smile

  6. Angryjoggerz Says:

His sword cuts through ignorance and uncertainty. I am actually planing for that as a tattoo on one of my arms, Avalokitesvara on the other. Wisdom + compassion. Just gotta get these arms a bit more toned.

::holds up lighter for joe’s encore::

Miley Houser’s late solo album had a bunch of titles like that, most memorably, “She Drives Me To Drink”.

Which reminds me that wsp used to do a ripping version of WYWH. They prolly still do but that band was all Mikey for me. Last 10 years have been like Spreading Panic Even Further from this local’s outside-looking-in perch. But WDIK

  8. dognamedwilson Says:

I see Dave Schools around town occasionally. Dude just keeps getting bigger. Those black tees must be custom made. They are a fat girls night gown.

Sonny Ortiz is involved in all sorts of drum advocacy programs and is easy to meet for those inclined. Always a family & kid friendly, wookless event. Good clean fun.

The sunday morning scene is all grown up now compared to 15 years ago and belies the decadence of a showtime audience. Still lots of h3tty dready moms in land rovers around here tho.

  9. MiA Says:

Remember, love is a battlefield and groove is in the heart.

  10. MiA Says:

Oh, and back up your harddrives.

    And say no to glowsticks.

  11. Robear Says:

Word AJ. I def cut through some ignorance yesterday.

  12. Mr. Palmer Says:

  13. halcyon Says:

Good Weekend friends…. Our endless stream of visitors the past 8 weeks ended today when some of my family flew back east today. Though we will be seeing many of them in a week or two. Had a good time with them, and past week has allowed for some reflection as to where I am, where I want to go, and what person I want to be. Don’t know where this is leading, but am in need of a certain change …..

    Hope the board is well.

    Congrats Robear!

  14. angryjoggerz Says:

Just went to kite fest with my daughter then on big bike ride (my legs hate me right now). Now, watching her do some sort of free form, hair in the wind, skirt twirling dance to a 1973 China Cat Sunflower.

    Seriously?

    : asgoodasitgets :

  15. Aquaman Says:

Kite Fest in Chicago is awesome!

Sorry I couldn’t pick up earlier AJ.

  19. Dr Pronoia Says:

I just had mike shaved onto my head

    Weird coincidence AJ

  20. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

In case there was any doubt, please save your money for phish rather than give it to Criss Angel like my wife and I did last night. Maybe “magic” shows are lost on me, but that was pretty unspectacular.

  21. Leo Weaver Says:

LW gettin a little aggro with the cops on the nbc news opening segment. pretty damn sure it was him. bb represent!

  22. Leo Weaver Says:

also, the boise bag is pretty good.

  23. Mr. Palmer Says:

Looks like night 1 only is in the cards for me at Worcester. Better than none. Always like to hit tour openers. Love the excitement in the air, everyone reconnecting….good times. See you cats on the floor.

  24. Gavinsdad Says:

Street League Kansas city opener on now. Some sick skating will go down.

  25. MiA Says:
