Alright fuckers, see you in AC!!!!!! Safe travels.

  2. Multibeast Says:

Loved hearing d’angelo on the superjam. What AW said is right no re: d’angelo. there was an interview with him in GQ recently some highlights:

D’Angelo on battling substance abuse problems during his hiatus:
“I didn’t really think I had a problem like that,” he says, taking a hit off a Newport. “I felt like, you know, all I got to do is clean up and I’ll be fine. Just get in the studio and I’ll be fucking fine.”

D’Angelo on getting arrested for soliciting sex from an undercover female officer in 2006:
“It was just me making a stupid decision, a wrong turn, on the wrong night. I’m not the role-model motherfucker. Look at all the shit that I’ve been in.”

  3. P.S.H.S. Says:

he’s got a great voice, and some skills with the piano/guitar, hopefully this time around things go better for him. not too often that people have both those abilities these days.
is it a lost art, in these american idol times, that people can’t pat their heads and rub their bellies at the same time?

    3:15 till party time

please lord give me the resolve to be productive for at least 60.. 30 of those minutes.

  5. Chonz Says:

Wow, these work days leading up to AC are torturous. There’s not even much actual work to do, so I’m just stuck watching the clock and dreaming of this weekend. One more day of this crap….

Safe travels, stoner fucks. See you on Friday.

  6. lumpyhead Says:

@Gdad – wow, that’s pretty crazy, that coldplay video.

  7. MiA Says:

    Really good.

Spinning the 11.11.96 Tweezer from Miner’s 96 picks. I dig the trey kit work on this. Remember when the return of the Trey kit rumors floating around last year?

    calm before the storm…

  10. voopa Says:

Palmer – Just heard that David Stern interview….sure Rome is an ass, but DS’ behavior was uncalled for. Especially for a commissioner.

  11. Mr. Palmer Says:

Agreed Voopa. Rome being an ass is more of a general thing. I can’t stand Stern either.

  12. MiA Says:

Rome is like any interviewer. He’s meant to provoke. Even if he give Stern a leading question “When does this quit sucking?”

Stearn is not an interviewer. You don’t expect him to get so agitated and turn into such an ass so quickly. Very non-professional.

Not saying Rome is, but Rome isn’t being paid to be. Stern always has the option to NOT go onto Rome’s show.

I was just about to drop this thought here in the comments and figured I would read up on whats been going on the last few hours. I see Chonz just had the same damn thought as me. AND…he’s a fellow Minnesotan! I’m right there with you man. I just wish I was going to the damn shows! Just the thought of new Phish in a few days has me in a tizzy. I feel like I’ve worn out the last few shows constantly reviewing the highligths. It feels weird having a several day break like this. Hopefully they’re practicing the act of blowing our heads off. 🙂 Peace.
