I thought day 1 of AC was easily the best of the 3.

  2. GhostPhunk Says:

I laid a 6 iron 4 feet from the hole Sunday and I still was wishing I was in AC. SPAC right around the corner though.

Chillaxing to a show opening Sugaree at the moment, helping a bit.

I still love the Xeyed>Slave segment so much. The Twist Woooo’s permeating through piper put a smile on my face as well.

  3. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

so glad we decided on hitting that one also

I think the words I am looking for here are “I TOLD YOU SO” 😉

  4. Mr. Palmer Says:

2 weeks from today is Jones Beach. Still haven’t received my PTBM. hmm.

  5. kenny powers Says:

Re: comments about the shows. I heard a guy on Sunday raving about Saturday saying he thought they didn’t get going night one.

I yelled out “what?!!” but he was talking to Jeff and I was at the booth so I didn’t berate him into oblivion.

  8. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

@kp, if all goes well you’ll miss the stream

  9. MiA Says:

may hit Blossom, and possibly one or both of creeks if not see you kids in AV and then California. – AW

If you need a single (doubt it) I have one in the pav for ya. Owe ya one for that trade.

  10. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

just don’t drive around a parking lot late night blaring jams while you both sing at the top of your lungs and point emphatically. pro tip right there. almost got me arrested on my first real date with my wife.

  11. Leo Weaver Says:

Well that was a fun weekend. I was so completely floored by the first two nights I really didn’t care Sunday night was a jukebox show (a very well played jukebox show mind you with several great highlights). The boys are on fire, don’t miss ’em.

@ae…if you’re out there, sorry I wasn’t at all coherent Friday night. Hope to meet you again sometime when the pieces of my mind are a little better connected.

  12. kenny powers Says:

lol @ df, nah i doubt tonight will turn into that (though i would not complain). she doesn’t strike me as a fast mover and neither am i…so small steps i’m thinking. if she’s a keeper it’ll be a marathon and not a sprint anyway!

  13. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

Everything would be better if phish played their jukebox shows on the first night of a 3 night run.

  14. kenny powers Says:

    lolz @ t3!

  15. voopa Says:

Happy Birthday Df! How old are you in Canada years?

  16. butter Says:

wasnt sure about my travel plans and the video stream, but i will be on airplanes both Portsmouth shows, so will settle for ALAC spins

on to night 2 set 2…. Crosseyed just opening up…..

  17. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

Thanks voopa, I’m 23 years Canadian.

  18. Mr. Palmer Says:

I’ve spoken to a few people that liked night 2 better than night 1.

For a lot of folks, who don’t see as much Phish and certainly don’t micro- analyze the music, it all comes down to song selection, and things they are familiar with. I was the same way back in the day. Now, I really couldn’t care less what they actually play, as long as it’s played well.

  19. Leo Weaver Says:

The metal pipe girl was, ummm…annoying? She looked at me once with a cig hanging out of her mouth and said, “can ya help me out here honey?” so I pulled the lighter out of my pocket and started to light her cig as any gentleman would when she went, “uggh, you weren’t supposed to use YOUR lighter.” Then she pointed at the one stuffed in that excuse for cleavage. I just turned away. Felt dirty. I need a shower after typing that.

  20. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

The metal pipe girl wanted to draw all over my face with markers….

  21. buddysmyles Says:

Hey BB, i dont know if its been discussed yet, but has anyone heard the word on the webcasts? Are you able to watch them @ a later date or just live… thanks

  22. butter Says:

2012 – the year they mastered the transitions from jam -> song again FTW!!

those teases in Bowie are just our band flexing on us …WHAT

  23. lumpyhead Says:

Actually, MiA, no JDYing for me. I signed a waiver on that shit.

    It was more job related.

  24. Leo Weaver Says:

Great seeing all the BBers…always makes for a great time. And really nice to meet a few more and watch old crews overlap with BB crews. You guys are the best.

    Happy birthday Df!

  25. lumpyhead Says:

has the task force truck driving into the middle of the pit on Saturday been discussed yet?
