    I love the French.

Well, I love some French. Not the France that was in Vietnam, but the France who so vehemently opposed our involvement there. Not the France in Algiers, but the French that figured out how to get their country out.

The thing about the French is they don’t half-ass anything.

Either they’re not doing anything, or they’re going whole hog.

While we’re having a gentleman’s revolution amongst colonizers, slave-owners, and racially-based genocidal fucking maniacs, the French are trading out the whole goddamn system. You suck, guillotine. You suck, guillotine. I suck, guillotine.

Then while we’re thinking maybe we’ll fight Hitler, maybe we won’t, the French are saying: “Fuck you, JP Morgan. Fuck you American imperialists, fuck you German imperialists, fuck you British imperialists”

we ain’t fighting ANYone. any more.

Then, when American hippies are putting flowers in cops’ guns in ’68, French students are getting shit done. Bringing their whole country to it’s knees in a way that American activists could only dream of.

    fun country.

  8. angryjoggerz Says:

I like France because I like to drink wine and wander old streets and look at beautiful people and eat good bread and cheese and go to museums and sit outside in november. Maybe that is more of a vacation thing, though. I could really go for some Paris right now.

I figured you could drop a “are we talking about sports?” line.

I was trying to be funny, but someone’s gotta re-write it.

Please don’t let me find out this KC Tweeze has been doped and artifically slowed down. I like it this way.
