bone-in end pork loin takes a while to cook . . . even in a pressure cooker

turned out pretty good . . . not great

i think i like fattier cuts of meat better

got meat for meals all week now

  2. phoammhead Says:

cooked it for 45 minutes, but probably needed another 15 mins

  3. phoammhead Says:

wasn’t quite fall off the bone

  4. phoammhead Says:

listened to chicago tab earlier . . . now started detroit. good, no doubt. but, a little soft for me these days. need something not quite so sweet overall.

  5. phoammhead Says:

maybe i needed the pressure a little higher

  6. SillyWilly Says:

    Another Wisco shooting.

gonna make work suck for a while, now.

  7. alf Says:

thx for the kind words yesterday, comrades

i’m in the building on the 30th (thanks frankie!!), probly giving up on nye and will try to get myself inside for 28th and 29th. nailed down a free place to stay so i can’t not go…

seems like a much smaller % of BBers hit in both mailorder and onsale this year…

  8. Dr pronoia Says:

I said the same thing last night Alf

Maybe the beiber kidz are snatching up all the tix?

  9. alf Says:

i’ve never done well on nye at msg but this is the first year i got completely shut out in both

at least usually able to snag a single here & there, but not this time. maybe dicks has got the kids ready for a blow out, maybe the scalpers paid more attention…

  10. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

check yo mail alf, you’ll be in the building

  11. alf Says:

enjoyed first spin through benevento’s latest…might have to think about that 28th post show

have only seen MB in garage a trois which was a bit on the heavy side for me, the guy has skills though

  12. phoammhead Says:

i screwed the pooch on the captchas . . . total fail. finally realized I needed to include the numbers.

  13. phoammhead Says:

    nugs segment on sixty mins

  14. SillyWilly Says:

on the way home from the office today, a big SUV passed me with

I LOVE BIEBER glitter-penned all over it.

“NEVER say NEVER” is an exact quote.

if you can heal the symptoms, but not affect the cause…

  15. alf Says:

i <3 canada, canadians, and toques!

  16. SillyWilly Says:

“finally realized I needed to include the numbers.”

    I did that too.

  17. phoammhead Says:

    lol, silly

  18. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

haha alf getting hooked up by all the BB canadians

  19. alf Says:

hoping to get a couple of you BBeleibers some floor space in beautiful jersey city, but probably won’t know for a while

seriously though, how do canadians get so many nye run tickets?

  20. alf Says:

the random discussion among my committee before my defense started on friday was about jersey

i actually interrupted them to say this topic of conversation doesn’t bode well

one of them, though, quickly pointed out that regardless of what was about to happen, there was no place the discussion could go but up

  21. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

bc phish feels bad about not playing up here

  22. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

  23. Mr. Palmer Says:

Alf can’t stay away from Jersey. Sometimes people are attracted and destined to end up in certain locales. For Dr. Alf that place just happens to be beautiful Jersey….pass the Wegmans..

  24. Mr. Palmer Says:

This working on Sunday’s is killing my football viewing. Missed the entire Giants game. Of course, the outcome is usually the same. Eli leads a game winning drive in the final quarter.. ho-hum..

Future is bright in DC though. RGIII is as legit as they come.

  25. viola Says:

a lot of folk said that can newton is “as legit as they come” …. ??? so i aint giving rg3 shit until he makes it through a 16 game regular season with more w’s than l’s. washington has a history of self imploding and as long as fuck head snyder is the owner the skins suck.
