Just have a soft spot in my heart I guess.

you also have been seen wearing a full body dayglo ski suit, so this needs to all be put into perspective…

  2. kayatosh Says:

TAB is its own unique vehicle. grateful for it.

  3. Mr.Miner Says:

i have an extra 12/28 GA WEST and 12/29 GA WEST.
i need a 12/30 GA WEST and 12/31 GA WEST.
    who’s got me??

  4. ren Says:

    Bunch of wookie jesus’s

  5. Dorn76 Says:

Let’s not hope for flooding in the Northeast from Sandy, eh Dusty?

  6. Dorn76 Says:

I loves me some big weather, don’t get me wrong. And I know you’re just talkin’ big waves and big drinks…

The anticipation and hype around here is already starting. Just stopped for gas and 4 other people in line had gas cans.

Last year we lost power for 9 days from Irene, and our town spent more than $2million extra dollars we didn’t have clearing trees and repairing local roads.

  7. xpun Says:

i think they could pull off nod with page taking over horn parts, or trading that riff back and forth with trey building it up to the “i was asleep for so long”

i’d love to hear them try it more than any of the others on the album

okay pigtail on second listen reminds me of spin doctors

  8. Dorn76 Says:

Not just our town actually, and State covered most of it….

  9. Calpain Says:

some waves from the Sandy-Cane sure would be nice, but falling in the middle of the week would be a huge mess. hopeful that does not happen

  10. kayatosh Says:

    tornado of light beams

  11. roberto luongo Says:

I totally agree with you Jtran. that’s why I wish they would have explored the production qualities furthur.

seems rushed with the clinteastwood, pigtail, and let me lie

kinda a half project. would have loved to hear him put an entire effort into the new soundscapes with a more full batch of material.

but def dig the sonic soundscapes he’s fuckin with on the 2 or 3 songs he actually goes all in on.

    Morning folks.

Storm is getting some hype. Yesterday’s metaphor filled article I posted talked of 3 scenarios. The worst may be classified as a “atmospheric bomb”, the best scenario a stormy day with high winds. That being said, I know my department/company I work in is looking at this closely and are beginning to make arrangements to bring in crews from as far away as Texas should things really fall apart. I may be putting in 12-16 hr days starting Sunday for as long as needed.

  13. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

I know your company took it on the chin hard for how things got handled last year, halcy (both for the hurricane and our little october blizzrd dealio) so I can only imagine the prep going on over there right now. good luck.

  14. Calpain Says:

NPR is stating energy companies are being required submit proposals for dealing with these expected events by today. hope it all works out @Halcyon

  15. littleumbrellas Says:

Timothey Leary on SpaceGhost coast to coast.

  16. Jtran Says:

I agree roberto. Clint Eastwood feels out of place.

I do finally dig the arrangement on Let me Lie. Thought that was lame at first that it was on there, but grew on me. Valentine, not sure if that was an only live tune before, or if it’s on another album, but that surprised me too. Fits on Traveler though.

  17. Bad Nirvana Cover Band Says:

Do miner and Xpun have same avatar ?!?

  18. willowed Says:

    I hear you Dorn.

Lost power for 18 days if you combine Irene and the October storm. had to move my family tout of our house for a week after the October deal.

    Not a fun time.

  19. halcyon Says:

T3 you forgot to add the Tornado too!

Was talking with some field workers the other day and they were joking how they were driving down the streets assessing the situation and people were waving and thanking them, and a few days later the same people were out there giving them the finger!

  20. Dorn76 Says:

When the lineman (from Colorado) got our power up here in Madison, CT after Irene, I ran out and gave them a bottle of Grey Goose from the freezer.

They were impressed, and very grateful.

    Sign me up!

  22. SillyWilly Says:

    I like weather

but I think I’m more into freak building phenomena

a couple weeks ago the courthouse’s gas alarms kept going off

had to cancel court for the day (like a snowday!)

turns out the alarms just needed new batteries

  23. halcyon Says:

It’s a small world after all.

  24. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

winter can’t get here fast enough

  25. hogskull Says:

let it snow let the wind blow
we need a good storm heck
    its that time of year
