Be safe, everyone. I live on the lakefront in Chicago and they are saying we are going to get 60mph winds and 25 foot waves… should be interesting.

  3. BingosBrother Says:

Windy as fuck in the chi aj.

Twist>Slave FTA is so $$$$. Yep, 4 of em. Trey’s trilling in that Slave is so reminiscent of the Fat Man. Sends my soul to the sky.

    Re: Barley Wine Ale’s

Usually 10% and up in the alcohol department, thus need some palate training, the dogfish brew is a 15%. They tell you on the bottle to put beer in plastic bag(unopened), dig a 1′ x 1′ hole in ground, put bag in ground, remember where hole is, and return a year later and enjoy.

    vintage precious = vintage beer

kaveh was just there on my honeymoon in sept. the water usually isnt that close to the sea wall or dunes. rode bikes along that road from oak bluffs to edgertown.

  9. marcoesq Says:

Yeah it is. Sand is no joke either.

Funny, I just cued up Twist>Slave from FTA. Here we go..

  10. Mr. Palmer Says:

you guys see the crane that collapsed and is dangling 600 feet over 57th street?

  11. P.S.H.S. Says:

  13. marcoesq Says:

Yeah that crane on 57th is nuts, scary

  14. BingosBrother Says:

Old Nick barley wine gets me shwasted. Not for the faint of heart. The devil on the label is apt.

  15. kayatosh Says:

that first excerpt made me dizzy. wtf?

  16. marcoesq Says:

Eye of the storm now looks like it will be passing through NJ right over my house. Awesome.

  17. P.S.H.S. Says:

i can’t read shit like that, must have to be on L for that logic.

  18. Mr. Palmer Says:

That might as well have been written in Chinese. At least then we would have AJ to translate for us…

  19. P.S.H.S. Says:

prepared for the storm the best way i know how, sharpened my chainsaw and waterproofed my chippewas. then went out and got a 12 pack of octoberfest, now we wait. oh, the boys? not worried about them at all. once the lights go out, i give them each a flashlight and some fruit snacks, they’ll be set for hours

  20. marcoesq Says:

I gave up after 2 sentences, that dude sucks. Pretentious as shit

  21. RoosterPizza Says:

The college is shut down for the night, so I have a growler of fresh pilsner from the brewery and BGCA III on way louder than I should. Getting some good work done and trying to not think too much about living in a basement apartment.

  22. RoosterPizza Says:

North Coast private stock is the best barleywine out there. For a local pick, Rock Art’s Vermontster is pretty good.

  23. RoosterPizza Says:

    marco

How about that Ron Jovi comment on Stern today?

  24. marcoesq Says:

Nice, Rooster. Haven’t heard the whole show yet, listening back on repeat..just got through the evil dave segment. Those dudes are ridic

    Re: Mike’s Song

Ok, I understand that we may never get another 2nd jam and that all Mike’s songs can’t be 6.20.95 or any other ’95, ’97, ’98 or whatever but what about 9.30.00 Mike’s?? Shit is less than 9min long but rips!! That shit Trey pulls out at 8:10 on the LP is just ridic.

Let’s just get back to ripping Mike’s, that is all.
