Tweezer” 8.14 II, Hershey, PA

Legend has always said it that this Herhsey show before The Clifford Ball wasn’t so hot. I never understood that assessment. Here’s another reason why.

Plord, you got one of those Moog Guitars? Vibrating sustaining strings?

  2. Calpain Says:

6 Point Resin on tap last night. another quality doubleIPA. really upfront hoppyness faded upon warming to some very subtle fruit flavors. still delicious out of the can, but nice to have it on tap.

going for a Palate Wrecker later today on tap. might need to prep the palate w/ some blackberry cheese before that one.

i know this has been discussed ad inifinitum…looking for new in-ear headphones (just crapped out) and external HD (long overdue purchase). is that discount website still functional?

  3. phishm Says:

@Calpain, Check out newegg.com for an external hard drive. I just picked one up for very cheap. USB powered 2TB for next to nothing. They always have good deals. Greek 3 is something I’ve never listened to. Downloading now. Thanks AW for the advice. Beautiful guitar Plord.
Chipotle for the afternoon snack. Spicy stuff with the right salsa. Go with the hot. It helps.
One other thing. Love the talk on the group conscienceness at a phish show. It’s what it is. It’s always there, but takes a roomful of peeps to fulfill that which we all have the ability to do when we look outside of ourselves. Eliminate the ego and it will be there without phish. Or not. Peace.

  4. MiA Says:

Costco often has reasonable deals actually.

  5. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

dammit animal collective just cancelled their show due to sudden illness. phish would nevar do that… have they ever done that? missed tame impala for them too….

  6. phlorida phan Says:

Miami Hurricanes wins ACC in bball for first time, football (what matters) has yet to accomplish that. Sad.

  7. phishm Says:

The members of Phish would have to be human for that to happen. I’m not so sure that’s the case. Take care all. Greek 3 is as good as advertised. Thanks.

  8. kayatosh Says:

greek cities — $$$ feel. home of elvis and the ancient greeks — crowd erupts spontaneously.

  9. phishm Says:

Great hood. Seems stupid to state those words. Seems like it’s something said time and time again. I attempted to put into words that feeling that goes along with my first statement. Didn’t seem to mesh. So I stand by my original examination of the jam out of hood from Greek 3. Great stuff. Probably easier to understand. Nuff from me. Gotta love Phish. Not just because they are a jamming ass band, but because they bring the like together. The like being what you think it to be. Not all are in the like. When you are you are doing something right. Or something like that. OK now peace and have a good weekend. Don’t want to infuriate anyone with words from 1 individual. Peace.

  10. littleumbrellas Says:

Lighting from the Sky. Boy you better run to your mama now.

  11. angryjoggerz Says:

wash your face and drive me to the lands end

  12. plord Says:

@littleumbrellas yep, Moog electronics in a Scott Walker custom shaped beauty. Link to pic on page 13.

When I get this little glitch sorted I’ll post some clips of my hack playing. The Moog stuff is ridiculous. Infinite sustain into a clean amp at conversational volume, among other unnatural acts. The built in Moog ladder filter is gnarly; can’t mimic the classic Mutron sound but has it’s own sweet spots that are really playable.

  13. Luther T. Justice Says:

    That’s a beautiful guitar plord.

  14. littleumbrellas Says:

Seen some videos, almost sounds like an E-bow, but built in. Fucking cool. i want one. Doesnt it have built in analog delay?

Mutron. Aggghh! One day the Mutron will be ours. Page played one when Phish covered Genesis for the Hall of Fame.

  15. tela'smuff Says:

    awesome guitar Plord.

i’m prone to best ever statements, but this CCCC Halley’s might be fav Phish jam ever. impossible not to get sucked in.

  16. littleumbrellas Says:

Wait. Brain glitch, you mean Mutron effects.
i was thinkin you meant mellotron, in terms of making string sounds.

  17. littleumbrellas Says:

One day the Mellotron will be ours!

  18. littleumbrellas Says:

Yeah, Im trying bone up and throw down on getting the Mutron envelope filter, probably the octave divider aswell. Working with Moogerfooger’s but would love to make the move to Mutron.

  19. BingosBrother Says:

FTA #16 stream w/ CCCC Halleys

    http://hip2besquare.net/2012/07/07/from-the-archives-with-kevin-shapiro-16/

  20. tela'smuff Says:

that’s what i’m listening to Bingo. i have all the Archives in iTunes, that was a kick down this past year.

  21. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

some pre-FM releases of those FTAs would be nice. bonnaroo FTA one of the best releases eveeeeer

  22. tela'smuff Says:

yeah DF. they do they job, but it’s a bit if a tease.

  23. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

bonnaroo i think is the only one that got the full FLAC release. and it has RCMH Ghost, Pyramid 2001, Cypress After Midnight, and a bunch of others

  24. littleumbrellas Says:

Watcher of the skies. Page in a Tux. mellotron:

Medeski tears the mellotron open with his teeth. Tape speed/Pitch bend solo:

  25. tela'smuff Says:
