Of course he uses the same phrase twice in a 3 sentence quote, but it’s kinda shocking that he gives a shit about anyone’s creativity.

I know the Mike’s jam is based on Stranglehold, but it’s not hard to “come up” with a line like that even if you’ve never played before or heard that song (sorry Mike, still love you and your song).

Smokebuddy… smart. Used to have to use paper towel roll and Bounce in high school.

  3. vapebraham Says:

nice picks, miner. yes to 12.6.96 simple. That whole segment — Mike’s>Simple>Hood>Week — is $$$. and try also simple>timber from 12.9.97.

do u like my pecs? do u like the way they protrude from my chest. i attribute mine to doing mad bench presses in my buddy’s basement cranking Back in Black by Ac/DC, when I was 12-13 yo. Drinking all that hormone laden milk before bed also may have played a part. as for testosteroni — it is my favorite cut of pasta.

3.9.74 JGB — seek it out. “ain’t no woman like the one i got” — $$$. jerry and the flute. sublime drumming and organistics.

  4. Spasm Waiter Says:

Hey gang. Hows Friday morn treating everybody? 22 days biotches!

  5. vapebraham Says:

kaya crew called it a stinky

  6. dorn76 Says:

Dispensary approved 5 minutes from my office! Still needs state site selection approval, but CT is joining the MMJ revolution regardless. Going to be the strictest program in the country, but it’s a start.

Kinda makes me wish I had a debilitating illness. I kid. It’s great news, and the list of conditions is broad enough to really help alot of folks here.

Nice list of tunez Miner! Just toss in the Albany YEM at the end like it’s no biggie. Oh you.

Sad to see Mandela pass, can’t help but think he stuck around to age 95 making up for all those years he lost staring out at those rocks.

Spinning reggae, freedom songs today. Cheers all.

  7. TrippingBilly Says:

my friend is convinced that Mandela held on just long enough to know that Dave had been able to play in South Africa.

  12. Spasm Waiter Says:

  13. HeadyBrosevelt Says:

@kaya- most saunders/garcia from ’72-74 is off the hook- 3/9/74 is a good example. coincidentally, i am listening to 2/9/74 this morning. i played some legion of mary for my girl’s dad while we were drinking whiskey and chuffing over the thanksgiving holiday. i asked, “how do you like this music?” he replied, “man, that organ is magical!” he was very into it. pretty cool.

  14. dorn76 Says:

In a crazy World where Ellsbury is worth $150 mil, Cano is worth $240 I guess.

  19. phlorida phan Says:

Shit, gonna set record highs here today, only 85*. Probably have to turn my ac back on in the hizz.

  20. Kaveh Says:

@pp: we are going to be lucky to hit 0 degrees today in Minneapolis. The AC is naturally on up here.

  21. mudbuddy11 Says:

  24. phlorida phan Says:

Sounds fun Kaveh, wish that cold front would make it this far south. But more around the 40’s is what I like.

  25. Gavinsdad Says:

Shout out to AJ’s NĂºmero Group playlist on spotify. That kept me so jazzed for my 1:30am drive back home from the city last nite.

    Soul fire!
