December ’95 Haiku Finalists
Here are the ten finalists of the December ’95 haiku contest. I put the names into a hat and drew three winners, who are highlighted in blue. Winners, send me your mailing address and I’ll get these out in time for the holiday. Thanks to all twenty-five people who entered a haiku! (I wanted to publish em all but thought it might be overkill!) Happy Holidays!

Mikes is used for a springboard sandwich of surprise songs now
I dont’ think it matters if they jam Mike’s or not.
There, I said it 🙂
Okay, here’s one.
Had big jam from Mikes in back of mind on 30th. Like I always do. Didn’t care when it didn’t happen. Like I always don’t.
running a shuffle of fall and MSG run. shuffler goes right to 10.31 wingsuit. love that song.

I think Scott Marks or another phish.net guy interviewed Mike last summer or spring and asked about the 2nd jam in ‘Mikes’. Gordon was like “Oh? How about a reference?”
@JG – not a fan of Yarmouth, kind of over 46 Days, Lawn Boy is what it is, Heavy Things was ok, terrible PYITE, f Sample, and a decent Jibboo. so, mostly it wasn’t a set i personally thought much of (after Wombat), but i also felt the band sounded a little off compared to the previous two first sets of the run.
@stoney – i believe Mike’s final statement on that, via Twitter, was he could just as well not play it all of it’s an issue.
12/30 I worked fine for me @JG.
Of course I was in a giddy mood, having just stubbed Phishm into the section with my crew, basking in the glow of watching him rage his first set at MSG.
Birds ripped a few noob’s faces off.
in light of mr. muff’s thoughtful observation on the matter and in looking at it more specifically
reconsidered and revised
1. 12/31 2
2. 12/29 2
3. 12/31 3
4. 12/30 2
5. 12/28 2
6. 12/29 1
7. 12/31 1
8. 12/28 1
9. 12/30 1
So I went to Shred’s link (thanks!) and saw Mp3s but someone said there were ALACs. Am I missing something?
And who’s got my heady orange for the other nights?
Muchos Garcias.
Annnnd I’m still lost. Birds was Saturday.
Monday Set 1 wasn’t as popping, but opens very solid for me (Yarmouth Fan), liking KDF in the opener “get it over with spot”, then Gin, basically my favorite Phish tune. Weak middle tunes, nice finish with Jibboo, Trey sounding delicious.
^^nice use of Garcias MrC 😎
Thanks for your take telas. I was distracted during PYITE & missed the botchulism. Listening at the office while working def < couch tour &/or in the room listening.
Agreed Dorny McDornerstein re Jiboo. Delicious & calorically dense.
& I always enjoy a nice Lawn Boy. I can smell the colors outside on my lawn. Moist green organic that my feet tread upon.
@Df good thing you skipped MSG. Not really you’re kinda run huh 😯
Oh shit here comes the massive CDT. Time to get Dust’d.
Tripost bitches!
new post
I’ll be spinning NYE set two forever, thats the Phish I originally fell for. They managed to make it personal and emotional, Mike says Yes.
Caught what I imagine is the Light jam yesterday replaying my cast, look forward to visiting that set along with all the Ph I’ve missed since summer. Cheers, dudes.
