Fall 2013 (Andrea Nusinov)

Fall 2013 (Andrea Nusinov)

Here are the ten finalists of the December ’95 haiku contest. I put the names into a hat and drew three winners, who are highlighted in blue. Winners, send me your mailing address and I’ll get these out in time for the holiday. Thanks to all twenty-five people who entered a haiku! (I wanted to publish em all but thought it might be overkill!) Happy Holidays!

  1. Stoney Case Says:

Bob. He barely used it for Light. Used more night 1 and 2. Echo Plex

  2. Phamily Berzerker Says:

Got no cake, ate rail for Truck Your Face set in its glory.

  3. Shred Says:

I like the set as is. They nailed it.

There is no grey area for Gamehenge. That wasn’t it.

  4. Shred Says:

Can’t have Dylan listening to Audience. It’s embarrassing.

  5. MiA Says:

Stop it. Was not a GH set. And close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

I have a vision of Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny arguing over it like “Duck Season! Rabbit Season! Duck Season! Gamehendge! Old School! Gamehendge!”

Someone ends up with a shotgun blast in the face blowing their bill on backwards.

  6. little umbrellas Says:

thanks Shred, you got 12/29 aswell? would love a better aud of Carini.
    -fastballs from Shred, the best

  7. Kaveh Says:

    The crowd huge improvement

^ Noticed it right on night 1; super supportive and engaged crowd. One of the standouts of the first night. I love it when the whole building in all on the same vibration along with the band.

  8. Mr. Palmer Says:

Simple>Hood was slick stuff also…. Probably gets overlooked in what was probably the 4th best of 4 shows, but that and CDT are praiseworthy

  9. Don Gordleone Says:

The NYE Light was so smooth.
“Phish plays love” for the Phishm win.
“Miner needs a break” for the drive by troll win. ha!!!

In the end, Phish out did themselves again and managed to change the script one more time.

Who’s got my “AG in tears as the stage moves” home video?

  10. MiA Says:

For the record, it beat Fish being blown out of a cannon, It’s a small Meatstick, Golfers Delight, etc.

Four guys playing their core instruments that made them famous.

  11. little umbrellas Says:

yeah haven’t checked the CDT yet either… Shred says Darkstarish…

  12. jtran Says:

Surprised ppl aren’t digging 12/30 more. I think besides 12/29 that was the most flowy front to back, sets 1 and 2.

Dug most all the song choices

Who’s got my “AG in tears as the stage moves” home video?

  14. neemor Says:

“shotgun blast in the face blowing their bill on backwards.”

^ Exactly how I feel riding rail

  15. Phamily Berzerker Says:

I started last rewind on Sunday morning for Sat’s show and now am holding off to see what our host has to definitively(spit infinitively) say about the shows…

Actually I just want to bask in the glow some more from what I do recall.

  16. btb Says:

Sat next to Canadians for both 12/29 & 12/30. Montreal in the house keepin’ it real. I’m sure they both thought I was nuts.

1-800-TORONTO DWD. leave a message after the beep.

  17. bob dylan Says:

ive only spun night 1, nye set 2 and light. def heard the echoplex all over the night 1 show.

  18. Mr. Palmer Says:

    Phish in another 30 years..

  19. little umbrellas Says:

I’m a noob at getting quality sounding auds. Usually go youtube (deadphish panthers has been big for me) or Phishtracks. Palmer/Shred/MiA’s and others linked auds to drop boxes have always been killer.

would love to make a killer aud comp of the best of Fall/MSG shows.
Never checked the Etree, is that where you get the decent sounds?

Or do you masters have soundboards somehow….

    ^ great read

  22. btb Says:

My 2 favorite pics from the MSG run…

    That shirt, is epic

Willow’s shoes that he allegedly “wore to Coventry” that are “10 years old” – for some reason that cracked me up

  23. MiA Says:

Ugh. I can’t read the pomposity of that shit that those guys write. Didn’t realize it was “them” until the fifth sentance.

Diharea of the word processor. Literally Neemor, my hell of Phish writers.

    Clowns with a voice.

  24. marcoesq Says:

This one is Just Zac, in the flesh. super wordy

  25. marcoesq Says:

If he cut out 50% of the words in there it would probably be a decent read
