long trail (VT) limbo ipa (2.3.14) — $$+. gorgeous hop array. bright citrus, pine, dandelion, and dank nose w/ hint of malt sweetness. $$$ aroma, EB like. taste doesn’t quite rise to the level of the smell, but delivers nonetheless. hop zip. resiny with dry, hollow finish. easy to drink.

following w/ a flower power. beautifully balanced and refreshing. winner. east coast represent, represent zent.

  2. RicksFork Says:

Thanks boys. I like my pax, but was afraid I was missing something. Pax also not so good in the cold and I ski every weekend, so that’s a problem. Love the portability though.

Flower Power (fresh) is some of the best.

Also, 4/4/98 2001 is the biz.

  3. roberto luongo Says:

I’ve found none of the portables work in cold water Fork

the PAX becomes pretty worthless under 30 degrees.

may want to go concentrate pen for skiing. they work fine in the cold elements.

I like the dabbler, or the atmos nail, or the cloud if you wanna go mini. they all have ceramic/titanium elemnents.

  4. RicksFork Says:

Only wax from those pens though right RL?

  5. btb Says:

Dudes, trailer park boys is back with 2 new seasons on Netflix starting March 31st.

    I am the liquor

  6. Mr. Palmer Says:

    Pax works great for me….

Next I want to get one of those pens..problem is I really don’t have someone for oils, etc..

  7. vapebraham Says:

when one considers heady T, double sunshine, another one, flower power, hop ranch, jai alai, HotHS, limbo, Lot. No. 3 — east coast can hang w/ west coast ipas. and then there’s midwest outliers like headhunter. heady times.

    BGCA Energy

  8. vapebraham Says:

pax works below 30 F. fact.

  9. roberto luongo Says:

yup Ricks. just oils and waxes.

yes vape it does work at 30 degrees. just not well. probably stops working completely around 10 degrees.

it’s been around zero though all winter. maybe my temps are a bit lower than I’m giving PAX credit for. as someone that walks the dog in the freezing cold daily def suffers some performance issues in the winter.

  10. vapebraham Says:

no argument. it is impaired by extreme cold.

  11. vapebraham Says:

pax when dropped and bent up (inevitable) loses some of its aromatic integrity, i.e, folks around u know what’s up.

  12. roberto luongo Says:

the only vape that i will pamp the grave is the volcano

    every home should have 2

harborside has one that they installed their own high powered fan to fill the bangs quicker. hippest shit I’ve ever seen.

can pack like a gram in that bitch and fill yourself a turkey bag when you’re running on the treadmill. massive milky bags yo!

  13. roberto luongo Says:

ya when I’m PAX’ing Kush no hiding from anyone.

    even Vaped that shit reeks.

accidentally had mine turn on in my pocket at Whole Foods a couple weeks back.

“What asshat smells like Kush” were my thoughts.

    “fuck its me”

  14. phlorida phan Says:

Buddy of mine has the digi volcano, def. is the king of vaporizers. Just don’t want to spend the $500 or so on a device. Someday I guess.

  15. little umbrellas Says:

Love my pax. Hate cleaning it. Needs to be freshened up every few uses for optimal quality. Great customer service and 10 year warranty sold me.

TeenyBrellas, you are right about Horseshoe Curve, excellent album. I was referring to studio stuff. Live Tab records (HSC, Plasma, even TAB @Tab) are pretty solid.
