Disease -> Free” 6.26.95 I, SPAC, NY

Simply put, one of Phish most superbly executed  psychedelic odysseys.

Light” SPAC, NY 7.5.13 II

This dense, virtuosic conversation kicked off Summer ’13 in earnest and is now my go-to version of the song.

Rock and Roll -> Meatstick” 8.5.11, George, WA

A jam—especially in context—that caused ripples throughout the modern Phish universe.

Ghost” 8.15.98 II, Limestone, ME

The essential nugget of late-Summer ’98 Phish foreshadowed the shift to ambient jamming come the fall. This relatively under-the-radar “Ghost” sneaks into my personal top five.

    BB Providith.

    -Check the Playin from this show. Probably my favorite type of music that the band touched on. Scarlet>Roses was fine too. Cool to hear an early 70’s style Dead jam in a Scarlet.

    bout to get to this Dark Star. Row row row.

  20. jtran Says:

    whatever the live phish album is called, the slave from 94 on that from orpheum 94 is tops for me.

  21. sumodie Says:

    DP09 sound quality is fanfuckintastic; great instrument separation, clarity, warm vibrant tones

    Havent heard the original sbd tho

    I wish Phish Inc continued with those custy remasters that they released back in 2010. Sure, it’s taxing the fan twice, but the improved sound quality was worth it (Manchester, Greek2 & 3, AC2 are the remastered shows I know well)

  22. Thomas Says:

    this show has the BEST. PROMISED LAND. EVER!
