  12. vapebraham Says:

not a bad little “did you know” list (in the vein of similar things you see of the intrawebz) even if it is a reprint from last year:

10 Little Known Facts About the Island Tour

only one I don’t necessarily agree with is #1 since it seems hard to me to tease a song that won’t exist for another year or more. maybe you could say they teased the theme that would become Mozambique? but what do I know.

  14. wolfmansfather Says:

as much as i dont want it to be the case, lets all be realistic here and acknowledge we’re getting the standard phish festival setlist in NO – what festival show hasnt had their most played songs? get ready for sample/funkybitch/momadance/possum/tweezer/disease/wilson/kdf/suzy/backwards

  15. RicksFork Says:

  19. little umbrellas Says:

Wolfmansfather, who’s sad if they get a moma possum tweezer disease? sounds great.

on the contrary, Outsand Lands featured covers of the Velvet Underground, David Bowie, Ween and Frank Zappa. Perfect for the hipsters.
so perhaps Jazzfest will get covers of Allen Toussaint, Dizzy, Preston and Little Feat..

Manteca, Sneakin Sally! throw them dice

…(Will it go round in Circles?)

  20. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

speaking of mr. popper, I believe bt will be touring with such luminaries as smashmouth, sugar ray, and the gin blossoms this summer.

so. um. yeah. there’s that. if you want. I guess.

  21. roberto luongo Says:

    huge Sneaking Sally at jazzfeset.

  22. roberto luongo Says:

the best part about jazzfest is Phish may be the unifying big stage set we will all be at.

a typical daytime phish show at jazzfest amongst all that great music is an amazing experience.

it’s not like you’re stuck in Worcester at 1AM Trying to figure out what to do after a mailed in Troy performance.

it’s fuckin jazzfest yo. sick music for days!

  23. little umbrellas Says:

Let’s acknowledge the New Year’s Run will be standard, and the gag will be goofy.

Not like they’re going to drive the old JEMP truck onto the floor, and plug in their old equipment.

  25. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:
