  1. tela's_muff Says:

I agree with almost every piece of that. Nice. No question 7/14 and 7/4 best sets. Can’t argue with those top jam picks. I might add a couple jams to chrono list. Runner-up jam veh I may go Fuego or Dust. Whatever though. BB refreshed and ready for tour!!

  2. TimberHo Says:

Best Show of Tour (any, ever) = Most fluid, taking songs to new places, great jams, this is the best show of all time, etc. etc. etc.

My Best Show of Tour = I’m there, great weather, great venue, phish, with friends, great songs, great time

Just glad there playing. What an amazing time that we are actually able to expierence this. It could of been all over but they are here.

    bringing this post over here–
I can never get enough of this one:
    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1rnN67Y7_lg
    Ole! Coltrane
John Coltrane — soprano saxophone on “Olé” and “To Her Ladyship; tenor saxophone on “Dahomey Dance” and “Aisha”
    Freddie Hubbard — trumpet
Eric Dolphy — flute on “Olé” and “To Her Ladyship”; alto saxophone on “Dahomey Dance” and “Aisha”
    McCoy Tyner — piano
Reggie Workman — bass on “Olé,” “Dahomey Dance” and “Aisha”
Art Davis — bass on “Olé,” “Dahomey Dance” and “To Her Ladyship”
    Elvin Jones — drums
The first and title track is a thing of majesty. Two basses, and it works! (Slap bowing at one point). Freddie’s tone on trumpet rules. Eric on flute for the win. McCoy has the most mesmerizing couple chord vamp going the whole time, and Trane’s second solo to wrap up the song is Peak. PEAK!

Snake charmers pulling down crystalline structures from the heavens.
    consume with glee.

  6. bob dylan Says:

  7. bob dylan Says:

  11. dorn76 Says:

    Golden Retriver huggin’ music.

  12. little umbrellas Says:

    here ya go Voopa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlZtvEM5mf4

  13. voopa Says:

Really? The song from two years ago that I posted here over 12 weeks ago?

Sorry, it’s not easy being as white and nerdy as I am. Speaking of which, the new Weird Al stuff is worth a spin:

  14. voopa Says:

Yeah, that song could work as my bio from like ’88-’94.

  15. vegas wolfmans Says:

I have to say, I was not in the room and concede there is some time spent searching, but that Wedge jam is the absolute bizness to my ears. Sometimes a few minutes of glory is all one needs. Re: SB Mound and Worcester Boogie.

  16. vegas wolfmans Says:

Also, the Chicagoplex Ghost is beyond awesome. That is some next-level shit right there.

  17. Cable Hogue Says:

    nitpick:

    7/1 Ghost>Weekapaugh was clearly a better segue than 7/20 G>W, I think.

  18. Cable Hogue Says:

  19. Destiny Bound Says:

    Northerly: The Wedge?

  20. Luther T. Justice Says:

Will the Mid-Tour Awards Show be televised?

  21. dorn76 Says:

    Posted on wrong post…precoffee

    My 21st Phishiversary is today!

Kids born at that Great Woods ’93 show can legally drink today.

    Cheers!

  22. neemor Says:

    They should be televised.
Time to press our wingsuits for the affair.

  23. Darth Vaper Says:

It was this newer cherub video I liked. Maybe it has a second surge? http://youtu.be/8h3t2h4NKPY

    More trippy. And nudity.

Voopa throwing his “hipster lean” with “I was into that way before anyone…”

  24. DryIceFactory Says:

    Overrated: Mann Fuego
    Underrated: Northerly Golden Age

  25. neemor Says:

    Mann Fuego is perfectly rated.

Nice way to start the day, free-form:
