‘Walking along in the Mission on the way to a nasty dance partyyyy’

    ^
Ain’t that the truth. @Lu you ever get a chance to play or enjoy 12 galaxies? So full disclosure, I saw G&R in the late 80’s and early 90′. Troc and hershey or allentown. Full mullet family lineage here. At times I can see how that wedge jam at 10mins in was trey and then page doing paradise city. Good job guys, next time bring it.

    Also,
The Clifford Ball Hood may be my favorite piece of Phish ever played.
    Simply stunning.

^ the finest example of interplay ever recorded.
Though I tend to lean towards the dramatic.

  5. RicksFork Says:

Love these award posts. Not much I disagree with on there. Also, love the photos chosen for this one. My pinner SPAC Tweez is disappointed that it didn’t make the cut.

  7. neemor Says:

Tell that SPAC Tweez to keep up the push ups and we’ll see her again in Portsmouth. (Of all places!)

  8. Gavinsdad Says:

    I lean toward the Fluffmatic.

It’s the Linguicia and Portuguese Sweet Roll talkin

I’m beyond behind on my listening.

  9. Gavinsdad Says:

Success of Fall 14 : # of GA Floors

  10. Gavinsdad Says:

    Go Team Charlotte!

  11. phoammhead Says:

    Charlotte? . . . here here!

been listening to the shows the day after and catching a few live webcast streams . . . sounds and looks like a lot of good times!

will catch Charlotte, Oak Mtn and Alpha . . . little southern run/hospitality for the soul. BEK will also catch Portsmouth. She usually gets an extra two shows on me each year. girl loves her phish.

see you pholks on the ground.

    cheers!

  12. Gavinsdad Says:

BEK will have a tough time enjoying that GA venue @phoamm 😉

  13. phoammhead Says:

you know it, GD . . . she loves that place. we’ve been together to Portsmouth last two visits, but my ass gots to stay home and keep work fire stoked. plus, i’ll probably have to be canning corn while she’s gone! farm garden is blowing up. we’re planning phishvegas, so that’s exciting, since I’ve never been to vegas and I won’t pass up this time on a good reason to finally check it out.

  14. marcoesq Says:

Nice ranking, Miner. I’m sure many hearts have been broken by not seeing the Wedge up there. I agree with this for the most part.

MPP 2 days away! Having a feeling this shed is finally gonna get a throwdown not seen since 2010 or 2000

  15. marcoesq Says:

I didn’t enjoy Portsmouth but it wasn’t from lack of GA, stood 3 rows back from stage and that’s closest I’ve been since ’99. Place just seemed too cramped. And they’ve never lit that place up.

  16. marcoesq Says:

Why not go back to VA Beach amp? Besides the cops on horses that beat down wook vendors…they’ve never played a bad show there.

  17. Joe Says:

Another fine df photo. (Like the top one too)

  18. The Flesh Says:

phoammhead – i got charlotte, oak mtn and alpha as my only shows this tour as well. here’s to hoping this run is HOT.

  19. Kaveh Says:

    Morning BBers!

@Miner: appreciate the list; good picks.

  20. marcoesq Says:

MannFuego exactly where it needs to be. Some next level shit right there.

Just like the Reading DWD though, these PA 20min jams getting a ton of love.

  21. sumodie Says:

Phoamm! Hope you & BEK get a hot run of phish down there. Sounds like things are going well with you, very cool

    ***

Hard to play VA Amphitheatre if the band isn’t selling out teeny tiny Portsmouth (plus all gen adm nTelos is far nicer than the VA amp)

    ***
::sheds a tear for the spurned & burned Northerly Wedge::

  22. marcoesq Says:

I dig it, VA Amp is a big giant mess. Just really talking about quality of shows at each. If nTelos was on a Fri/Sat I bet they sell it out.

  23. DryIceFactory Says:

    Mann Fuego got timer’d.

Plenty of jams just as interesting as this (and some, with the same ideas) that didn’t search for nearly as long. I will say that those final 6-7 minutes are some of the best of summer, but you need 17 minutes to get there.

    Timer’d

  24. bpmac79 Says:

Hey all – question. Why havent the DTE or Chicago shows come up on Phisttracks yet? anyone know the delay? Its the only way I can listen at work….thanks

  25. btb Says:

Spinning PH all day at work today and making stupid mug club beer goofs.

Worked 16 hours yesterday, fuck today (today, today). Just ain’t happening 😉
