on that subject. just lease pay cash. that is all. #nopapaprtrailyo.
“reclaimed wood, air cactuses and Edison light bulbs.”
Dammit. I was going for that look in my house.
Honey pack up all this shit. We’re going back to restoration hardware.
master of the obvious over here. my bad.
i can’t be the only one here that likes reclaimed wood, air cactuses and Edison light bulbs, can i?

@stoney- I can’t figure out who thought it was ‘fuck you’ to the fans. Though watching the shows and thinking of miners impending go/no go decision, I kept thinking they were making it as hard as possible on him…. Just enough hose to make it close and then the kitten factory tweezer!? Poor guy. Must have been tweeting using his nose today… he was sitting on his hands so hard.
But ‘saw it again>fuego’ and Jennifer dances is just $$$$ entertainment. And the kitten factory tweezer shit didn’t just happen spontaneously.
I am non-hip. Edison light bulbs? Like the ones with filament?
lately, I have found Sco’s fb page to be a quality follow. he is touring Europe with a small band and it is like Rick Steves on Quaaludea*. today in Trieste he posted an interaction with some buskers from Prague – even sitting in for Caravan.
*Sorry, I already have this album name registered and in preproduction.
::rushes off to take care of something::
Sooo… Using the section where fishman says “mmmm my dong” for your ringtone is my deal now, got it? I’m calling dibs.
TIII’s album is in the can.
Wow. dIf dropped the mic?!
Stoney – for the record, my take was more fun pull the seat out prankster attitude. I would never think the band is giving any of us a literal FU. Although that Harpua rap sure did feel like it at the time. 😉
@t3 you know Rick Steves is a big ole stoner, yeah? He’s out in the open, relatively…pretty cool
Steve’s rocks a fanny pack and makes that shit look good.
He also hooked me up with the intel on the Duomo, show up weekdays in the late AM, gold.
I’ve never been no Valentino
But I had a girl who lived in Reno
Left me for a trumpet player
Well, it didn’t get me down
He was wanted for assault
And though he said it weren’t his fault
You know the coppers rode him right out of town
I’ll be sleeping until the crack of noon
Midnight howling at the moon
And I’ll be going out when I want to
Coming home when I please
Don’t have to ask permission
If I wanna go out fishing
Never have to ask for the keys
oh yes, of course. but his vibe is much different than scofield’s. plus, it was mainly a vehicle for using ‘rick steves on quaaludes’ which i’d had out there waiting for some time now without a use in mind.
Every time I listen to Nighthawks I consider doing some heavy drinking with it, not out of melancholy but just because I know otherwise I’m not quite doing it right
I can see that being worth a little effort
the added bonus is that scofield’s page is in fact a nice travelogue these days
It might be a bit like “Exploring the Cosmos with Neil deGrasse Tyson Stoned” http://youtu.be/dPwhGQjlbpw
MPP Ghost!!
Like someone said crowd deserves a lot of credit yesterday. They were rewarded with the great energy being thrown towards the band. Setbreak and preshow was noticeably louder than usual.
Just relistened to sand and fuego. Trey played great in the type one fuego jam. Like really really great.
Was seriously considering Jerome G for the overnights on Palmer’s Phish Radio (PPR, 555 on your Sirius dial) but since he snagged his new white collar gig, kid been slackin’.
Listening to Tom Waits pretty soon he’s quitting his job I betcha
And back into Tweezer(x3).
Thanks for the link to the set 2 rip, C.
On the Beach by Neil Young has to be one of the best albums ever. Beautiful.
