Also… Can one use names of corporations that have closed? Electronic music group called Circuit City…. indie group called Linen’s N Things….

Aaron Rodgers making Brady look merely human. Is there any doubt who the best QB is in league after this? Mr. Rodgers step up and accept what is yours. You make Brady, Manning, Brees, Rivers, and Luck look silly.

Yea pretty sure DF is trolling. Was far from blown away by the 1.35 min “shread” Trey jam. Im no timer but that was a short pedestrian “jam” if ever I heard one.

So since no one has done an audio transfer of the 7.9.77 JGB Asbury Park show that’s on video (the NFA one) I went ahead and did it. I tracked down the highest quality original source (so, better sound than the YT versions) and transferred those, and did just the minimal editing to get them ready for seeding: nz/#!hF9hXTxA!ZcGGmDmAlq3ezZmLOtz8G05aXDvWWX0YJI2IYfgzIQo

This source has not yet been circulated on etree so if you get it, you have it first. Well, after me and one other guy.

In fact if you are an etree person feel free to create the DB entry and seed it on If no one here does it, I’ll recruit someone on reddit. I’m too lazy and busy.

One funny thing is that the coolness of the video apparently distracted everyone from noticing the sound is mono. So it sounds way better on speakers than it does in cans. It’s also got a buzz and a hiss and a bunch of little warbles and brief dropouts but the music is clear and fantastic.

Read the text file and note the available edited version of Russian Lullaby if you are an evil person like me.

What’s a good windows based lap top? Asking for a friend.

Asus are good right now Stoney. Good hardware for the money. Mine is baller as fuck.

Cool people make fun of em but most folks who have the Surface Pro (combo tablet/laptop thing) really love em actually

  13. phishm Says:

I bought my daughter an Asus. Works just fine.
Bummer about that kid from OSU. No words on that one.

  14. bobby weird Says:

Yea, when the kid apologized in advance to his mom for “being an embarassment” the writing was pretty much on the wall. Maybe this will prompt advancement re concussions. Just like Sandy Hook revolutionized gun control legislation.

And ‘Merica keeps on keepin on.

  15. Stoney Case Says:

How much to get a decent one? What’s the processor to look for. I bought a cheap cheap ASUS for work and hate it.

  16. dorn76 Says:

All this Anus talk on a Sunday even. You freakin’ guys.

  17. dorn76 Says:

    I’ve said too much.

  18. phishm Says:

What do you want it to do? If it’s for surfing the net and word processing and such then the bottom of the line. If you are talking about gaming with high intensive graphics then you will need all the bells and whistles. All depends on what you want it to do. Check newegg. I always get good deals on there. I got my little girls for about 300. Listed are the specs.
    Intel Celeron N2815 (1.86GHz) Turbo 2.13GHz
    4GB Memory 500GB HDD
    Intel HD Graphics
    1366 x 768
    Windows 8 64-bit
    DL DVD+/-RW / CD-RW

    She doesn’t game.

  19. bobby weird Says:

Not sure you beat the Pats w Mason Crosby.

  20. phishm Says:

Now if it’s for gaming then I’d go with an AMD processor or an Intel core I7 with at least 2 GHz. You will need a video card as sharing video RAM with onboard sucks for gaming. Probably a card like an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M would work. Better cooling and such. Let me know.

  21. bobby weird Says:

Super Bowl preview right there. Great matchup.

  22. BingosBrother Says:

You know Stoney’s gamin his ass off out there.

  23. Stoney Case Says:

Nice Phishm. The former looks good.

  24. MrCompletely Says:

I don’t agree on buying bottom of the line. Buy up as high as you can reasonably go but on a stock machine where the money is going basically to the unit itself – so no fancy graphics processor for gaming etc. It’s worth paying for a SSD HD if you can, upgrades to core stuff like the processors…because first of all speed/power is everything in terms of making a computer enjoyable to use, and a midrange machine is just a better bet in terms of build quality and lasting awhile…

think of it like a car. even if you don’t need bells and whistles like the heated seats and powered butt scratcher it does make sense to invest in build quality so it lasts longer and is less frustrating
