This seems like a good resource specifically for Python as well: https://developers.google.com/edu/python/

    ^And it’s free 🙂

My Python devs recommend TreeHouse for that.

Python (including frameworks for it like Django) and Angular (which is also a framework but not for python) are hot hiring buzzwords rn. Be a little wary of putting too much effort into learning just frameworks – though they are extremely useful and a good way to start building stuff quickly. The problem is that it leads to not knowing how to do the actual code underneath it. Like you can learn to build fancy JS-y stuff in Angular without ever learning JS itself in any rigorous way, which leads to problems in complex code and makes your skillset dependent on the lifespan of the framework. Just a tip.

Possibly hiring an entry level Java dev before too long btw. PDX area.

DP16 is so good- acid psych rock at it’s finest. was 11.8.69 really Dick’s favorite Pick? can’t blame ’em. shit is fire Dead.

  8. MrCompletely Says:

It was Dick’s favorite show, yeah, and was released as a memorial to honor his memory after his passing. There was some resistance to putting it out before then I guess, because of the less amazing first set. He had been pushing for it and it was probably going to be out in the next year or so, but when he died right around the release of 15 they went ahead and just did it. The next several picks were chosen from his existing list of release candidates, until DP22 (Tahoe 1968).

ha Dorn. i knew a guy like that. a story ii can tell b/c nothing ever happened, thank Jah. started when i took my mom’s car for a joyride before i had my license and missed a turn and got stuck on his front curtilege. dude comes out, telling me he won’t do anything about the damage but i had to paint his garage at a discounted price. didn’t want moms to know or any trouble, so i said yes. after a series of increasingly obvious hints, on what turned out to be my last day, he told me to come knock on the LR window when i was done. when i did set up for my viewing pleasure was him laying naked on his couch watching m-m porn. i screwed and never came back. never got paid either.
