Trey post FTW is one thing.
Phish post Baker’s Dozen is baller AF.
Curveball was going to slay. Absolutely slay.
There’s these spaces in the music where the band is willing/able to move through, .. where many earlier times in 3.0, the band might not have had the confidence or relaxed nature to keep a jam going.
There’s been a few really dissonant and out jams, and a few ‘ space ambient timeless’ parts in the jams from tour thus far where the band has been super comfortable letting it all hang out.
@lu,
DidYa SEE a CurveBALL WelcomeMap?
Methinks they were gonna USE Music as a platform to Explore AND ExPanD 2&3-Dimensional “Astro(metaphysical)PHYSICS”…BACON was a CampingArea–>WE were All gonna get SpaceWingSuited @WGInterGalactic………..IT got aWeeeeeiiiiiggggh!¡!
YPC would be a tight song to actually jam. It’s basically tube. Let the samples die out as the ‘head’ and then jam some synths.
Trey scorching leads with the octave divider for a sec. This is pretty bad ass. It’s still funny how they forgot the bridge they wrote for it in the first version.
Mini tube.
Pet Cat WTU and robearito has gone to sleaap. 😉
Got to jam with the new Mu gear overlooking lake Tahoe yesterday , super sweet.
I knew the envelope filter would be my Neptune Bootsy dreams come true, and it is.
But the octavider is crazy sick on the bass. Goes well together.
Got a grasp more on some of treys tone’s more with the POG2 divider that he uses.
On the Mu, it makes another note an octave down, that’s played simultaneously with your clean note, you can mix the signal to get the volume even.
This note isn’t a clean round version, (Plord, splain that part for me) , it’s the scuzz version of an octave down. There’s also a switch to flick off your normal signal and just have the sub.
But really it’s two, pedals, it’s also a ring modulator. It has a ‘ringer’ that you can flick on for an octave up, and this is similarly scuzzy, but up high it’s even more fuzz distortion acting.
So really it has an octave below or above or both as an option.
Trey’s version instead of an octave above and below, it has a series of draw bars. Like on an organ, that’s how he’s getting the tones for the phantom organ action via TAT.
You can slide in different part’s of the whole overtone series on the POG-2
So did they do a double encore last night? I had to bail out after Possum due to having to be up at 5:30am. So very tired. Just got to get through a few days then it’s off to Chicago.
Always one of my sleeper tunes

Waves & Light
felt 1st set’y since Light,
I’d have been chompin hard tho and doing high kicks at the peak of Possum.
New thread and nobody fucking tells me!?!? I’m twiddling my dick over in another dimension. Thanks Baker! See you Thursday or Friday?
Chompin hard
Dream second set.
Late afternoon nap. Throw this second set on then off to sleep.
Good ole fashion psychout.
I dig LU’s enthusiasm
Rise / Come Together
(Ok, maybe his enthusiasm is better than that tune)
LU, great news for you!
Simple
Light
Waves
Skin it Back…well, just because.
