C, go check out Frye’s electronics. Might find a toy or gadget you *need.

  2. Mitch Says:

speaking of, hd video cameras are freaking small now. handheld little pocket cameras that shoot hd. i want one for shows… then again, i want my friend to have one for shows.

  3. Mr.Miner Says:

Obstacle of Course will be a great Phish song.

    So far I’m counting –

    Show of Life
    Love is Freedom
    Obstacle of Course

    as shoo-ins….

  4. neemor Says:

    Love that Show of Life.
Some dumb asses are gonna abbreviate SOL on setlists and that’s just wretched.

We are going to pack the Fifth Terminal with a truckload of dudes.
It’ll be like a huge interplanetary gay bar….only….it’ll be us, not gay dudes….and stuff.

  5. kayatosh Says:

listened to 2/12 fob shoeps vs. hurlburt 2/13. i like the sound on the hurlburt better – more clear and less douche presence, for headphone listening, at least.

minor: what about “what’s done” for phish? seems less horn driven.

  6. kayatosh Says:

2/13 hurlburt tape of the tour so far for me. caveat: i didn’t listen to any dc tapes.

  7. neemor Says:

Kaya, there appeared to be only one taper on 2.13, am I missing something? Are tapers not using the stalks anymore?

  8. albert walker Says:

    could not disagree Kaya

    pretty subjective exercise IMO

I don’t dislike the 2/13 but not my fav

  9. joe Says:

it took 4 jim beam and cokes and a bowl but I think I’ve got the idea for Miner’s March madness. 8 versions of the 8 best songs (with a play-in game between songs 8+9) in a 64 bracket. The 8 best YEMs, the 8 best Tweezers, etc. to get the best song ever. One each day for the 31 days of March to get the winner.

  10. joe Says:

with the songs in their own bracket so the final 8 will be the best version of each song

  11. jdub Says:

I had seats next to the other taper at Oakdale behind the sounboard in the front of the second section. He said there was one other guy up front who I couldn’t see. Didn’t get a chance to ask about a copy as we weren’t around at setbreak until right before the lights went down and we left right away. Be curious to hear what he’s got as I’m sure he has some of my whoops, between songs or at appropriate moments of course.

  12. Gavinsdad Says:

Miner – Joe is onto something. Could be rebas, hoods, tweezers and yems? Not sure bout lopes bowies or slaves. Could be fun if there was a way to tally votes.

  13. HarryHood Says:

Dude, if you are still on, what is the best source for the 2/12 HOB Show? I know you posted it before, but it’s gone into the abyss at this point and I fear that I may never find my way out again if I go in search of it……

  14. joe Says:

ghost would have to be in there somewher too gavinsdad

  15. joe Says:

    mike’s

  16. neemor Says:

“He said there was one other guy up front who I couldn’t see. ”
    Classic mis-direction.

Yeah, the Miner’s March Madness sounds freakin dope.
    Do it.

BackPack Man, no Antelopes? WTF does that mean?

  17. Gavinsdad Says:

Jdub – last minute NYC trip tomorrow? Holla.

  18. HarryHood Says:

So, no Kung Fu tonight……. What are going to get baned and listen to?

  19. joe Says:

I’m not phishtorian enough to put the brackets together or technilogically smart enough to actually make it happen but we’ve got both of those qualities around here for sure to do it.

  20. Gavinsdad Says:

You got it Joe. Sure. I dunno. Somehow I thought we needed only a final four. I’m confused. Happens easily. Mens downhill on tv. As you were.

  21. kayatosh Says:

HH: dude and i agree on this one for 2/12
    http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=532576

    good pull.

aw: very subjective. but we all can agree that the 2010 TAB shows warrant many listens. very good stuff.

  22. neemor Says:

    YEM
    Piper
    Ghost
    Antelope
    Bathtub Gin
    Tweezer
    Runaway Jim
    Stash
    Down WIth Disease
    Wolfman’s Brother
    Bowie
    Hood
    Mike’s
    Reba

  23. joe Says:

yeah dad, it’s a work in progress. But I’m thinking 8 versions of 8 songs with the songs in their own part of the bracket, could be 4 with 16 versions or 16 with 4 versions, etc.

  24. neemor Says:

    No Kung Fu, however….
    drumroll please….
My apprentice is playing with Tim Palmieri of The Breakfast (I consider the two best guitarists I know of in CT right now) on the 24th.
I could not be more pumped.
Anyone feel like heading my way for a really inspiring acoustic gig, keep in mind 2.24 Weds.

  25. HarryHood Says:

Thanks Kaya. Not the source that I had
