Jam of the Day:

Mike’s > Horse > Silent” 10.29.96 II

This nugget of darkness finds Phish in Tallahassee, amidst their last set before Halloween ’96. Playing with Karl Perazzo, warming up for Remain In Light, the band sat into a thick “Houses In Motion” groove during “Mike’s” second jam.

If you guys are referring to 12/28/2009, I dig that show. Stash/Hood/Light go pretty big.

12/29 and 12/30 are just incredible shows, great representation of Phish 3.0. In the top 5 of the year IMO

12/31 was fun. Second set had some big highlights

@BK…pretty good man. Work is trying to pick up a little, which is a good thing…not quite as much time for here unfortunately, but talking to you guys doesn’t pay the bills 😉 . But more work = more $$ = more shows for Leo…WOO HOO! School going alright?

@Marshall…somewhere here around the house, probably Tavern, tho I may take him down to one of the other tasty joints in the ‘hood. Lemme know if you can join us…I emailed verno about it too.

  3. Marshall Says:

I’m 50/50. What time are y’all talking about?

  4. Leo Weaver Says:

BOTT is the only big jam from Miami I haven’t gone back to in the past few days…been saving it. Wish I’d seen it in person.

Voopa- If you’re out there, thanks for the crutchfield tip. Just ordered a shiny new car stereo. Looking forward to plugging the pod in and doing away with the 10-15 cd books I have in my ride at any one time. My girl will be happy, too. She’s not a huge fan of me driving and trying to change cds at the same time. Especially when it’s a “Honey- I need to find my Phish Fall ’97 book and listen to Hampton Halley’s>Tweez>BEK- right this second.” Makes her a little nervous. 8)

Post-Production on Live Phish 02: Page McConnell and John Sicket.

    That explains a lot.

  9. Lycanthropist Says:

    Just basic birthday cakes.

You saw the burger cake right?

Uncle EB: I got a cocoa genoise cake to come out good today… layered it with chocolate mousse. IT was tasty.

Got a pyramid birthday cake tomorrow that should be fun

I just Sham Wowed some spilled cranberry juice. I thought I would share.

  18. Marshall Says:

OK, Whole Foods had a Pick 6 for $8.99 cooler. I got:

    Vinyl Lager Spring Seasonal
    Smithwick’s
    Sam Adams Noble Pils
    Sweetwater 420
    New Belgium Fat Tire
New Belgium Might Arrow Pale Ale

Anyone want to pick my first pull?

  19. verno329 Says:

@ i’m afraid i’ll be stuck at work tomorrow. but soon. looking forward to it

  20. verno329 Says:

@Marshall First instinct is Fat Tire but the Might Arrow sounds interesting. Yup, that’s my suggestion. Go with the Pale Ale

  21. Marshall Says:

    OK, Mighty Arrow it is.

  22. voopa Says:

    Right on, Flarr!

I’ve been a fan of crutchfield for years, and recently found out that one of my buds from college is a designer/photographer there.

  23. Marshall Says:

label says its named after an Aussie/border collie named Arrow who patrolled the brewery for 12 years. It’s pretty smooth and has an herbal aroma too it.

  24. Leo Weaver Says:

The Smithwick’s is good too…a bar around the corner used to have it, I enjoyed a few from time to time. Used to drink a lot of 420 too.

  25. Marshall Says:

my favorite main street bar in Greenville has “smidicks” on tap. I’ve grown to love it.
