    @WT!:

hopefully Marshall will pick up on your post….he mentioned hotels in Raleigh and Charlotte and some point this past week. I cut and pasted em onto a stickie on my work computer…i’m at home today or i’d share. i haven’t nailed down my lodging plans as my usual show-going friends are waaaay slower on the draw than me. you come up from FLA right?

  2. whole tour! Says:

yeah…it’s about a 12 hour drive straight through to raleigh from here.
I’ll probably leave a day early just so i don’t have to do a 12 hour drive then try to rage. Even driving to atlanta for the trey show (6 and a half hours) was exhausting…so i’m def trying to work in a couple of driving days before raleigh and after atlanta.

Check out my Phish website. It is under construction, but you can download some stuff and just keep checking in. http://henrynews.wetpaint.com/

i’m debating on getting a room in charlotte or just going straight through to atlanta after the show. I’ve never been to that new ampitheater in alpharetta so i want to get there early so we don’t get stuck in that hellish traffic.

  5. Phish...Yup Says:

    Happy spring BBoarders.

Miner, loved the post as per usual yesterday, but you have to keep bringing the 10 jams of the day every Friday! My morning at work pre-post march madness games felt empty.

3/12/93>Soccer game>BBQ = a great Saturday. 75 degree March days in DC are quite acceptable.

although…the drive from charlotte to atlanta in 2003 after the show was kinda rough in the condition i was in…lol. glad i made it! probably wont attempt that one again.

  7. halcyon Says:

Morning friends. Today is shaping up to be a bluebird day in the rockies. Although I have to work 🙁
Intense conversation last night. Had to retreat to lurk mode to try and absorb what was happening. Regarding this weekends downloads. Ihave seen plenty of shows at Dobson Arena in Vail and have always wondered what it would have been like to see the boys from VT play there.

  8. EL Duderino Says:

I can’t help you in Raleigh whole tour but I should be able to help you in Charlotte. I’m headed to ATL now as well.

  9. SillyWilly Says:

    @ohhphee

sorry, I hopped in the shower.

No its not still snowing here, but they’re calling for snow all day. I hope theyre wrong.

  10. EL Duderino Says:

This “Searchin’ ” from the new CM transfer of GD 4/27/71 Fillmore East is just the Frickin’ Bees Knees folks!

  11. EL Duderino Says:

    @ gavinsdad

Looking forward to hangin’ with you and Leo for a couple of days seeing some shows, neemsbane, and the like.

  12. Robear Says:

deep thoughts, bb style last night.

way to keep me in the college level philosophy course.

i try to keep mine simple:

Good food, good family, good friends, good lovin’.

I don’t always do my part.

gonna spend this weekend making summer tour plans. my credit card is trying to hide.

  13. butter Says:

sanity / wilson vid = dope

    brings me right back

  14. butter Says:

let that credit card out of its cage Robear

  15. Robear Says:

gotta’ 9-hole Disc Golf Course here in Baneville.

    You cats should head out.

We need to channel the BB manifestation, this spring.

Make sure we get Mr. C to the Greek.

  16. butter Says:

Phish is the best band in the land by miles

  17. Robear Says:

    foul, if you’re out there:

First, here’s hoping your dog’s up and running, and yesterday was a strange fluke.

I’m wondering if there was any spraying of pesticides or herbicides around your house or neighborhood right before it happened? I once had a dog that had a reaction like that to some bug spray my parents used. The dog recovered, but it was scary.

  18. ohhphee Says:

    @Robear

Enjoy the disc golf weather today. I think I’ll have to wait till next weekend,
    hopefully.

    been jonesin’

  19. kayatosh Says:

yo, what up BB. listening to curtain w/ from 12/30/2009 now. the talk of travellin down south for early july phish shows sounds tempting. spent some of the best years of my life in NC. as of now, grand ambition is to make all the PA shows. SPAC also looks tempting

  20. kayatosh Says:

    i include camden as PA

  21. kayatosh Says:

butter: agreed. phish really is special. virtuosos.

  22. Robear Says:

    el dude,

had a friend grab the 4/28/71 miller remaster. Holy smokes! Phil’s backing vocals on ‘Bird Song’ are straight up haunting. The little nuances on the recording give me chills. Will have to get the 4/28

I asked him what he thought of Miller’s work. He’s a HUGE collector of live Dead.

He said, compared to the ‘Official Release’, it was like taking cotton balls out of your ears (re: Miller’s version). He has both.

  23. Robear Says:

I mean, will have to get 4/27

  24. BingosBrother Says:

Great job Henry. Keep it up.

  25. SillyWilly Says:

I had to tell Gary Neemsbane not to come over today…he keeps calling though.
