    Morning BB.

Nice Antelope vid for sure. Looking forward to the DVD. Looks like no fall dates for this guy as of yet.

All work and no play makes Foul a dull boy

Hope everybody found a little something in the lottery!

  2. Spasm Waiter Says:

Morning BB. Getting ready for work and thought I’d check in. Hope everybody is having agreat weekend. Good luck w Fall tix.

  3. m00nshake Says:

    good morning all.

Good luck on getting Halloween tickets. I’m unable to go myself and I’ll be working (where Internet is mostly blocked, including TM) but I’m going to run to the breakroom before presale and try to get one Halloween ticket in case a> I change my mind or b> somebody here needs it.

I got a two-day pass for Charleston, SC and am glad that tickets were easy to get. Looks like demand is low in the South, considering these are the only dates in the South and they are Friday/Saturday shows, I would have expected a faster sell-out. It’s a general admission indoor venue so I’m excited!!!

  4. Gavinsdad Says:

Good luck with the onsales this am peeps….careful with those néw capchas.

  5. Armenian Man Says:

Good luck to all today. I have a feeling that this Halloween is gonna be special. No big build up yet with the album costume thing, makes a man wonder if Halloween is another way that Phish will reinvent themselves.

  6. BeantownBoy Says:

    Morning, BB.

Up early doing the pre-onsales meditation on the porch in the face of the rising sun with the hippie speedball.

Come to me a pair of the golden tickets (3-day passes), come to me.

  7. gavinsdad Says:

i just put my 2 Charleston 2-day passes up on the Ticket Exchange Spreadsheet (link on Miner’s homepage).

if anyone can help move those along i’d be grateful.

my strategy for strangers reaching out to me on tix is to quiz them with questions like “what song is the 93 murat show known for?” or “what was the bassist’s on stage color of choice in the early 90s?” or “where did the hood chant start and how?” I think with this approach you can separate the wheat (phish kids) from the chaff (scammerz). am i an idiot?

  8. Mr.Palmer Says:

Morning people. While we preoccupy ourselves with ticket requests, lets try and put things in a little perspective today.

I was fortunate enough to escape those buildings alive that morning 9 years ago. Not a day goes by that i’m not reminded how lucky i am. Just remember, its just tickets.

Now, go get’em!!!!!! and good luck. Peace

  9. gavinsdad Says:

^ps part 2: paypal only payment first and if people beef with that i tell em to go to the board and ask if gavinsdad is legit.

  10. Mr.Palmer Says:

    1. gin

    2. yellow

    3. i don’t know.

    did i pass?

  11. Armenian Man Says:

Gavin, some of those questions could even pose a challenge to the most seasoned vet, are you talking about Mikes day glow green??

  12. gavinsdad Says:

hey palmer: that certainly trumps any and all ticket grabs…thanks for the perspective. you have so much to be grateful for in your life.

  13. gavinsdad Says:

I kept thinking that other questions beyond this type of thing would be “google-able” but the hood chant, in phish lore, was started via a flyer handed out at red rocks 1996.

and yea, murat gin and “day glo” would work fine for Q2.

guess i could just ask someone their fave phish bluegrass tune…not sure even a scammer could pick paul and silas off the setlists.

  14. jdub Says:

Did Hood chant start in ’96 at red rocks after fans passed around fliers with the “great” idea?

Good luck with Halloween tickets people! I wonder if Providence and Amherst will have less demand considering what happened yesterday.

  15. Armenian Man Says:

True on the Paul and Silas, there is one thing that I have learned about this site vs. say a Phantasytour site. The individuals that frequent Miner, seem to have there game together.

  16. BeantownBoy Says:

    @ Palmer

I definitely was just reflecting myself on what transpired 9 years ago. Truly a life-changing moment, if not society altering moment as well. That was the day when reality and adulthood hit me hard.

Happy that you’re here to enjoy more days, experiences, and–of course– more footbell.

  17. Armenian Man Says:

Quick question. Do you guys think I should go wired or wireless connection for TM. My wireless blazes, but am thinking I should just pop the cable in for added assurance. Thoughts??

  18. gavinsdad Says:

forgot to say welcome Armenian Man…yea, this place really doesn’t fuck around. I mean, we totally fuck around at all times, but even the sporadic poster on this board is a full on phish junkie.

  19. willowed Says:

    Morning friends.
What a beatiful day today. Love this Lope vid

  20. Armenian Man Says:

thanks gdad. for an old man like myself, its refreshing to find a site where the peeps got there shit together!

  21. ChefBradford Says:

Most of this weekend’s download’s second set was filler on the first Phish tape I ever got (Joe B, you out there?)

this one is definitely coming home when I either get the new HD or the new PC

    good luck to everybody today

  22. BeantownBoy Says:

What nights are people going for in today’s onsales?

  23. gavinsdad Says:

    @armenian man: 41 over here.

i’m off to soccer with the boys. don’t forget to start your day with a nice teeming bowlful of Headies!

  24. willowed Says:

    I am going for 10/30 and 10/31

  25. Armenian Man Says:

gdad, have fun at soccer, 35 here, and yes the jah love has begun! Need 10/30 and 10/31, got 10/29 in the lotto.
