  1. Ghostface Says:

Agree with @lycanthropist on Amherst2. Not as bad as Miner makes it out to be. There was no left field, open jamming away from the core idea of the songs, but it doesn’t mean the jams weren’t super thick. Amherst2 seconds set was fantastic.

  2. BingosBrother Says:

    Market value is face here.

I don’t think the band gives a shit what we think. It’s their band, they know whether they hooked up or not.

  3. stitchstash Says:

Trey is playing a show in NJ this November. I hope he adds some more dates.

  4. AintNoTele Says:

On CK5: I’ve noticed that at times he will go ape-shit with the lights when he thinks trey is about to machine gun peak but trey hits a sustained note then tries to hurry up and machine gun to catch up with the lights. I guess what I am trying to say is that at times CK5 will influence a jams direction (esp w/ Trey) which would officially make him a member of the band. I love his work but as uncle ben said, “With great power comes great responsibility”

  5. gavinsdad Says:

@ Gavinsdad- I saw that you’re going to Halloween!!! Have a blast. Nice last minute surprise from your wife! She’s a nice lady.

  9. kayatosh Says:

    AC excitement building.

trying to make a little coin before then.

AW: market rolling over today or just another gap down fakeout?

  10. kayatosh Says:

hearing that GD will catch his first halloween brought on some serious vicarious excitement.

I caught one halloween — 1996. Probably the most transfixed I have ever been at a phish show.

  11. lumpyhead Says:

have people been talking about a Yes album for halloween?

  12. fat bastard Says:

    pink floyd animals…pig man!
    zappa’s joe’s garage

  13. Monsterpus Says:

    Yes? Nooooooooo!

  14. Jtran Says:

    Spinning Am2 today.

Good songs, just in a first set kinda way.

  15. lumpyhead Says:

Yeah I’d prefer a lot of things to Yes. but if they do it, it’d probably be pretty badass.

I’ve just heard a couple rumors that that is what it is.

  16. Monsterpus Says:

Whenver the mention of Genesis, King Crimson, or now Yes comes up as a potential cover, I’m reminded of my record store days years ago. We worked with this guy who only listened to prog-rock, subjecting everyone to those bands & Gentle Giant, Goblin…ah, memories

  17. Mitch Says:

morning everyone. a YES cover?? i’d be down for that.

in and around the lake (dunh, dunh, dunh, dunh, dunh, dunh)

i’d also be down for zep, floyd, and a lot of others tho so wharves.

  18. Mitch Says:

wharves? thats a word? whatevs is what i was trying to say. ipad autocorrect to the rescue! not.

  19. BingosBrother Says:

Tuesday night Phish show, all eyes on Halloween, y’all are in for a treat.

  20. nonoyolker Says:

Damn Bingos, that poster is fucking SICK! I’d definitely scoop that

  21. b-rock Says:

Morning all! That is one seriously bad-ass poster for tonight.

  22. plord Says:

@lycan, I was a little surprised to be the only one pimping the MA2 Wolfman’s. It felt straight gutter at the time and is still pretty filthy on playback.

Ok hitting the road for Manchester.

  23. angryjoggerz Says:

awesome poster. I love the different styles of the phish posters, for sure. to be honest, the pollocks are doing the least for me lately.

  24. BeantownBoy Says:

    Another day, another show.

Working till 3 then heading up to Manchester.

I’ve got a crazy week at work leading up to leaving on Friday for AC, but I have a feeling that Manchester should not be missed.

    Life is hard, I know.

  25. jdub Says:

@Mitch, I hope your feeling better lately!

That is a sick poster for tonight. Clever how he made the moon appear full yet covered enough to mimic the actual appearance of the moon tonight.

No more expectations for me this tour. Just gonna take it all in from my couch.
