  1. Leo Weaver Says:

“The road to hell is paved with good intention”

May not ring more true than in the context of organized religion. I’m a very spiritual person, but not religious. I understand that some people do need it, but I am not one of those people. I’d much rather decide for myself what it all means than have someone spoonfeed me an edited-for-politics-and-power version of someone else’s account and interpretation of a story.

@jtran…I just sent you a FB message. hit me up.

  2. kayatosh Says:

If I was to travel back to 1997 and tell a spry, 25 yr. old kayatosh that the kayatosh of 2011 loves prince caspian, young kayatosh would belly laughed.

    But it is true.

  3. Leo Weaver Says:

” i am fascinated by it, as it shapes society on many levels. i love to engage in religious discussion. as long as it can be fair and respectful.”

This should make for some seriously good discussion next month. Did you tell E you studied religion?

  4. guitarpicker420! Says:

@joe – you got to turn your statue of St. Anthony against the wall. Also, it helps to have one blessed by a bishop and a voodoo priestess (thank you Rev. Zombie!)

  5. kayatosh Says:

    right on, weaver.

  6. Leo Weaver Says:

Good luck with the key search Joe. Discovery vibes heading your way!

  7. kayatosh Says:

Gp: there you are. I have not tried either of the pulls you suggest for 7.1.2011. Been happy w/ the CCM4, but will try that oktava. not the mic I’d peg for best pull. but what do I know. good going.

  8. Leo Weaver Says:

gp is a man of many talents. nice work on the canvas!

  9. kayatosh Says:

Rastafarianism, like all religions, has its kookiness, but they score points with me for tapping into plant energy.

  10. kayatosh Says:

what canvas? you mean a tarp?

  11. kayatosh Says:

    .:cue adm. ackbar:.

  12. Tzara's Ghost Says:

@tela’s, couldn’t agree more, on the fascination with religion. Custy crib’s going to get heady. Then we’ll have SillyWilly to deconstruct it all from a post-colonial standpoint.

  13. kayatosh Says:

    Sball piper. major. $$$.

  14. kayatosh Says:

kaya blast done. be good. catch yall on the flip side.

  15. joe Says:

Apparently it takes 9 days of praying to St. Anthony. AAA comes in an hour. Choice made. Just need to get the key before it rains. Left windows down yesterday. Clear skies, no worries. I’m heading home. Peace and love to all

  16. tela'smuff Says:

“If I was to travel back to 1997 (1996) and tell a spry, 25 (20) yr. old kayatosh (tela’smuff) that the kayatosh (tela’smuff) of 2011 loves prince caspian, young kayatosh (tela’smuff) would belly laughed.”

    ^^^^ THIS!

Leo – i did not. but yeah, look forward to all kinds of good discussions at the Crib. Religious convo in the hottub?! ha!

Not only is that SBIX Simple quickly becoming my favorite 3.0 jam, it’s moving up the all-time list. The Bug that follows deserves to be mentioned among the more powerful performances of the tour this year as well.

  17. Jtran Says:

  22. negev79 Says:

@Tela’s, you’d love talking to my SMF. He is fascinated by religion as well – he majored undergrad in religion, philosophy and rhetoric and has a masters in theology and an m.litt in divinity. He is not religious in the traditional church going sense but is more into the theory/intellectual side, if that makes sense.

  23. Guyute711 Says:

  24. Gavinsdad Says:
