RECENT MR. MINER INTERVIEWS:

Hidden Track

As I’ve been busy shipping book and not updating the site, a couple different interviews I did have posted to the web. First, I took part in Hidden Track’s Writer’s Workshop— a broad and in depth interview with Ryan Dembinsky about my blog, writing philosophy, my book and Phish.

Additionally, I did a Q & A with Charlie Dirksen of Phish.net that was specifically focused on Phish Thoughts—The Book. (With a brief aside about Trey’s “Taste” tease in 7.17.’98’s “Weekapaug” jam.) Check ’em out!

BOOK SHIPPING UPDATE: All domestic orders have processed and will be shipped as of today! I am going to begin figuring out the international ones—hang tight! You can be sure now, if you order a book now, that it will ship the same day or the following day at the latest. Thanks for your support and I, sincerely, hope everyone who ordered a book enjoys it during the holiday season and beyond!

HAH! Well put GC, its all about viewpoints kid, all about viewpoints. In any event, with 4 nights to play all of a certain band member’s favorite songs (i wont name him), I think we will see an absolute HEAP of open improv’d jams that land in the “pretty sick” to “interesting as f*ck” category most of the week. Sorry for the rants gents, I’m just starting to get excited to dance like a freak and get my howl on with 20,000 other muttsticks who are chasing the same highs as myself. 2 days kids. Hold your onto your heads. Good night, playboys. Enjoy the city for those of you who have already made it.

DOL coming to you live from Penn Station. Post-holiday hustle and bustle seems to have subsided for the night. I can almost hear the walls taking the last deep breath before the galactic tidal wave[1] hits on Wednesday.

    Time near, mission clear, etc.

    You will be missed, @Rob.

    [1] Miner’d.

  3. DryIceFactory Says:

    Get some @DOL

  4. BrandonKayda Says:

I haven’t even thought about Phish much since September actually, lol. I have from now to Wednesday to get psyched. I wish I was in Ohio (or New York, for that matter) this year…

  5. DukeOfLizards Says:

    @DIF

Shit man, this is just my commute, I have work tomorrow!

But yeah, I can feel the calm before the storm for sure.

And by “storm,” I mean wooks.

  6. DryIceFactory Says:

  11. IrieWalton (Beantown) Says:

Actually @ garett the new name is due to the fact that we’re moving back to Portland in Feb. So I thought it was only appropriate to choose a new moniker and thought that paying homage to one of the blazer’s finest, bill “big red” walton was the way to go.

  12. Mike in Austin Says:

So can I buy the streams and watch them later? Kinda worth it even if you see the shows?

  13. DryIceFactory Says:

not to mention walton also (after his peak) came to boston and won a title as a celtic. great nostalgia to it IW/BTownBoay.

  14. DryIceFactory Says:

yea MiA I’m buyng the whole package, streaming the first 2 live and gonna watch the next 2 irie as fugg on my couch on Sunday and Monday when I return from 30 and 31. so stoked for those shows. I have a feeling 30 will be the show of the run. just a feeling.

  15. Esteban Says:

@MiA the package would be worth the replay if the real deal becomes an episode in debauchery 😉

  16. BrandonKayda Says:

I hope all of you enjoy the show. I’ll be here, as usual 😉

Really sorry you can’t hit the show @Robear. Sorry to hear about the terrible circumstances. Hopefully things look up for you in 2012. 🙂

  17. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

BK, in case you haven’t heard, it’s 4 shows 😉

  18. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

Take me to the round church!

  19. Mike in Austin Says:

    I’m ready for some debauchery.

Getting the package now. Thanks DiF

    I have $50 on Saints, -6.5

  20. DukeOfLizards Says:

    THIS JUST IN:

I can report the first confirmed wook sighting of the 2011 holiday run.

Specifically, a male wook glowstick-dancing in the NJ Transit concourse with no background music and surrounded by a throng of confused onlookers.

    Shit’s getting real.

  21. SillyWilly Says:

    that’s awesome, Duke!

  22. Gavinsdad Says:

Biscuits @ best buy theatre thru weds @duke 🙂

  23. Phamily Berzerker Says:

    Excellent G2 Duke!

Mrs. Berzerker and I hit the tarmac at JFK tomorrow 3ish.

Planning on a night base jump from somewhere in the city. If the rain fades away or better yet holds off.

    Still need to pack!

  24. Mike in Austin Says:

Jersey eh? Did he have an orangish tan?

  25. Phamily Berzerker Says:

My heart hangs heavy for Huggiebear. I could hear it in your voice hombre!

Sometimes, grown-ups get to make grown up decisions.

    Sometimes, that is a bummer.
