  1. Beaten Worker Says:

Im over the summer tour announcement. When are they gonna drop fall dates!?

  2. guitarpicker420! Says:

As an adjunct to BTB fest, I live closer to the Creek than BTB does to Blossom and am thinking we could have a pretty big party at my crib for the Creek. Or at least have a meet up at one of the campgrounds.

  3. Mr. Palmer Says:

    AJ- Miami show? thanks!

Clifford Ball- Maybe my personal peak phish experience. The whole weekend.

  4. Spasm Waiter Says:

Miner- thanks for the tunes from 96. Shit is in my wheelhouse.
AJ- How is the sound on that RH boot? Thanks for the heads up.

  5. angryjoggerz Says:

Yeah, it is the Radiohead Miami show. Have not listened yet, just saw it and thought I would pass it along. I’m not a big aud person myself.

  6. Spasm Waiter Says:

I am a sbd snob as well. I know there are a lot of aud guys on here, just doesn’t work as well for me.

  7. heals Says:

BTBers. What is a good campground close to Blossom?

  8. Guyute711 Says:

Nothing will beat 2011 BTB fest, I predict no jams or bocce at this year’s event.

  9. kenny powers Says:

WOW, that is huge news for SPAC, at least for lawn-goers. Noe they just need to triple the amount of restrooms and make the beer less than a half mile from the shed.

  10. Jtran Says:

SPAC 04 Drowned – know it!

  11. halcyon Says:

Good Wednesday Folks. Hope everyone has a good day out here. Today is going to be a long one. 10hr work day followed by appointments and those classes the hospital makes you take before you walk out with your kid.

Thanks for the linky AJ. Psyched to check this out later tonight.

  12. halcyon Says:

Thanks Miner for these tunes. Curtain, Mike’s, Reba, these are memories that will always remain. Love these versions.

  13. kenny powers Says:

    hey @ roofless sheds

i recently tossed a ghetto-fab AUD remaster of that 11/19/96 show on the ‘Noid. And you’re right about fall ’96, you can hear the rhythmic funkiness creeping through, and i’d say it really got jump-started w/ the Remain In Light set. Just listen to how god-damn nasty the groove in that 11/19/96 YEM is!

And the Bathtub is one of those “victory jams” or “triumphant jams” in the spirit of Went Gin, Nassau Tweez, Osaka Ghost…

  14. Spasm Waiter Says:

    Well said @KP

  15. Kaveh Says:

    Morning BBers.

  16. bhizzle Says:

“classes the hospital makes you take before you walk out with your kid”.

    huh?

Also, see the Deadskins are looking to trade with St Louis for No. 2 pick…Welcome to DC RG3!

  17. Kaveh Says:

    ^ On it! Thanks @KP.

  18. GhostDog Says:

Love the Makisupa>2001>DwD from the Ball.

Deer Creek was the goods. Up there with the best of Mike’s.

Also, don’t sleep on Hersey 96. Sick Boogie On vocal finish to the YEM… Great show overall.

  19. albert walker Says:

impossible to sleep on Hershey 96 here

one of my fav 2 setters of all time and am constantly pimpin it

    just smoking set 1

  20. halcyon Says:

    bhizzle

hospital holds infant cpr, and other birth classes before kid is born and such. Making light of what willl be a long day.

In other news, this Reba is sooo good.

  21. Robear Says:

Guessing dates announced soonish. . I’ll be on the road all day. That’s when the dates hit. When I’m not in front of the computer, chatting it up with y’all.

  22. bhizzle Says:

^I don’t remember doing that 5 years ago

  23. BTB Says:

GP420 – Would you be able to hit Blossom again this year if it falls on a Sunday? I’m going to try and hit DC>AV but my vacation is tentative planned for July 4th time frame. Haven’t been to DC since 2009 “water” set!

  24. kenny powers Says:

enjpy Kaveh – the source is a bit boomy (i think the band and Paul were still tweaking their arena sound at that time), but at least the levels are much punchier now.

  25. Kaveh Says:

Happy #Phish tour announcement day! Sounds like the wait will be rewarded with full tour (legs 1&2) dropping today.

^ I hope this is true. Would love to see it all in it’s glory.
