EMP canon. Ohhh boy.

So my first thought upon seeing “EMP cannon” with no context, and you’ll have to excuse some entirely ridiculous conspiricizing here:
Clearly China used an EMP cannon or similar newfangled weapon to take down the plane for two reasons: first, to demonstrate to those in the know that they have this capability and are willing to use it, and second, to give them a reason to ratchet up tensions with Malaysia, bringing China’s row with all of Southeast Asia over marine territorial rights to a boiling point. At which boiling point they can flex their military muscle to get their way without negotiation, pointing to increased tensions as the impetus for their aggressive but non-violent actions.
Huh. Now I know how Tom Clancy, excuse me, Tom Clancy’s ghostwriters come up with that stuff. Or wait, I’m not quite there yet. I need the rugged special forces soldier who is either the fresh faced new guy in the squad or the grizzled veteran on one last mission. And there’s the sexy, mysterious, but oh so vulnerable Vietnamese lady who cause him to have temptations towards infidelity, before deciding to remain true to his beautiful Kansan wife and baby.
NOW I know how Tom Clancy’s ghostwriters feel.
Gcc, I woukd be great at that sort of fiction. My engineering background coupled with pseudo-conspiracy ideologies and I could write a book scientists wouldn’t be able to dispute.
Related to EMP. A must read.
