this tweezer thing is hard. I’d need to listen to them for sure; can’t do it form memory. I voted for the 2 2015’s for kicks b/c I remember the August 2015 Tweez’s being killer. but better than big cypress? now i feeling tweezy about my choice. gonna quit while i’m behind
luckily the house randomizer landed on bingo -> 11.22.94 Funky Bitch ($$$). you know, that time that they flipped the jam switch and rolled out a 29 minute heavy metal/prog rock monster. dark meat x 2
That ’99 Nassau Tweezer is pretty soupy and slow through and through. Mike is throbbing at the beginning. Love those Thick Tweezers. Kinda MLTish. Which gets bonus points to me.
After about 13 mins in… it’s all MLTish. It’s perfect ’99 “Millenial” sound that Miner talks about in his dark post.
Once I had the album, I started thinking maybe this is a chance to try this one more time like that in this life. A lot of it grows out of our audience. We have this incredible audience and they honor us. The longer it goes, the more I feel like I want to honor them. The number of times they’ve come to see us, the responsibility and the excitement of the risk grows in my mind. Kasvot Växt that Phish just did was that: just, let’s just do something amazing fresh and new. These people have come to 200 concerts. We owe them.
Not a lot of slop in these brackets. Let’s do this.
Nice voting mechanism. Tweezer vs. Tweezer is a pleaser.

Nasssau 99 knocks out Hartford 13 in the 10-7 upset.
Tough seeding from the committee for dicks 11. Had a great season but strength of schedule must’ve been a factor
Tweezer Madness!!
Some great match ups here Cotton.

Also, really digging this Salem ‘94 tweezer party. Been a while

-> Cry Baby Cry.
Vegas 98 tweezer. Straight fire.
Smooth ->NICU taboot. Nice

The Hartford ’13 was the one that ended on “Drifting” Kinda forgotten about that one. Fun stuff. But I’ll take the MLT stuff over Drifting.
I can finally vote, nice!
I’m digging the Ghosts of the Forest title track. Makes me wish I was hitting up a show on tour:

Just listened. Yeah dude, especially in those last 5 minutes.
Cosmic explorations. There are definitely foreshadowings of Rosemont GA in there.

I liked this quote (he thinks they owe us):
