  1. DANKBOYBILL Says:

LOVE the rumors – fenway in may, 8/31 in albany.shows in my hood. hope they come true,in the mean time at least i have something to keep me up at night dreaming about.

  2. cottle Says:

I said it last night, but damn, these audience tapes are sweet! Much more depth…and I love the feel for the room that you get. Give me a good rig, in the hands of a taper that knows what he’s doing, and I’ll take that over a soundboard any day. Big ups to Jesse and all the others!

  3. full tour: announced! Says:

the hampton 09 version of “all of these dreams” is sweet!!! Such a mellow song….i friggin love it! What a great version.

after i listened to that “dreams” from night three, i hit up the return of the slowed down “water in the sky” from night one. The difference between the 3rd night of hampton and the first is like night and day. The third hampton show was perfect. The band was warmed up and it showed. Compared to the first night where the band seemed very tense. Not saying the first night was a bad show, its just by the third night the band had that spark back and it seemed effortless. Imagine how good a 4th night would have sounded!

  4. cottle Says:

I was talking about that “dreams” tonight w/ a friend of mine. I didn’t like that song when I first heard it back in 03 or 04, but for some reason, when they played it at Hampton, it felt like an old favorite. I also feel like the lyrics pretty much sum up the feeling of inspiration I’ve had since last weekend.

The other thing we discussed tonight as we listened to the Sunday show was the “Bag”. We talked about how great it was that Phish could do a six minute “AC/CD Bag” without cutting any corners or sacrificing anything. I guess that was the theme for the whole weekend, but the idea that they can pack all of these great tunes into a set the way they did, and still have each versison serve its purpose, whether a jam vehicle, a shreddy rocker, or whatever is still amazing to me. I love that this band can still surprise me after all this time.

  5. full tour! Says:

^agree about AC/DBAG….it’s short and sweet, but a powerhouse none the less. overall, night 3 is quickly becoming my favorite of the 3.

night one is good, but they seemed tense, and i don’t blame them. they were still nailing complex composed sections, but not gelled like night 3. night 3 was fluid, and top ballgame…night 2 was also pretty great overall.

  6. Al Says:

A Big Thank you for the tapers. These Audience Recordings put up here sound phenomenal!!!!!!

  7. kelty Says:

I like seeing the rumors posted as much as anyone but the problem I had with the Jones Beach > Nassau rumor is that Miner said the source was New York Newsday, when in reality his source was PT. It would have taken two minutes to go to newsday.com and find the article or in this case he would have found nothing and figured out the rumor was bs.

  8. kelty Says:

One last followup on the rumor thing – I actually wouldn’t have had a problem with it if he didn’t post the source as Newsday.

  9. Al Says:

^Well, then create your own Website and do a better service. I’m more than happy with this one – I’m extremly thankful for the best Phish site there is – and has ever been so far. Thanks, Miner – you are doing a wonderful job. Hey, when will there be a “donation” button?

  10. Mr.Miner Says:

Soon. For now you can paypal donations for site / hosting costs to davecalarco@hotmail.com… Thanks all…

  11. Fish Sauce Says:

    Rumors Schmumors.

I liked night 2 the best. don’t know why, just thought it had the best song selection, playing, etc. Got the livephish downloads, now look forward to the AUD to determine what i like the best. These livephish recordings sounds way better than they did from ’03-’04. Fenway? Interesting.

  12. hairy pood Says:

why isn’t it 9 yet? gorge gorge gorge gorge

  13. burndog Says:

    Mr. Miner,
While I was down in Hampton, I ran into a bunch of people that really appreciate your site and I agree completely. We were all talking about the night before and your site. Your site is a great resource. Keep up the great work.

  14. Davey Says:

Nothing up yet. Bummer. Maybe they’ll be quirky and do it at 1AM instead of 12???

  15. Mr.Miner Says:

    Great to hear burndog….

  16. youenjoy09 Says:

    Mr. Miner,
do you think, for the west coast shows coming out, there is any chance Phish will give priority to those that entered and were completely denied for both Hampton and June tour presale lotteries? I can’t cope with the thought of being shut out again….

  17. youenjoy09 Says:

^priority in the next ticket lottery that is…….. I know, wishful thinking huh?

  18. tyler Says:

@youenjoy09 – that kind of thing unfortunately isn’t really feasible when dealing with such a huge volume of ticket requests. I hope you get in though.
