Weekend Nuggets: The Spectrum ’97
DOWNLOADS OF THE WEEKEND:
In all the madness of Fall ’97, this Philly weekend sometimes gets left in the dust. Surrounded by Hampton and a legendary Cleveland > Detroit > Dayton run, The Spectrum shows don’t always get the credit deserved. Both second sets were monsters, strewn with all sorts of improvisation. and ten tons of cow funk.

Yeah, I don’t expect it, it would just be so cool. Maybe at least a little more effort at the end of Limb By Limb… I would just love to hear more complex beats. There’s a lot of songs that have plenty of room for crazier beats, and I know Fishman is qualified to play ANYTHING I hear in my head at least 10 times better (seeing as how I’m a guitarist :D).
@Wax
I’m from Maine originally, but was at the RMP gatherings on 12/31/96 (which Tom Marshall attended!) and 12/30/97. Ringing any bells?
