Deer Creek '00 (Distante)

Following up the last two downloads, this show completes Phish’s three-night run at Deer Creek in 2000. The second set featured, perhaps, the three most-often payed songs of summer in “Jibboo, “Sand,” and “Twist.” The strong playing of the second set continued with “Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb.”

I: Cars Trucks Buses , Wilson, It’s Ice, Bathtub Gin, Buffalo Bill, My Mind’s Got a Mind of its Own, Split Open and Melt, Sparkle, Funky Bitch, David Bowie

II: Gotta Jibboo, Sand, Twist, Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb By Limb, Loving Cup

E: Run Like an Antelope

    BDTNL>Scarlet Begonias?

  7. fatbunch Says:

    Slave>Morning Dew?

Someone was drawing the parallel bran those 2 the other day. I think’d make a cool segue!

  8. BrandonKayda Says:

The 11.18.09 Cobo 46 Days has major Scarlet Begonias teases (check it again) – I could see that happening maybe – don’t know about Slave->Morning Dew though, too similar.

That Cobo 46 Days gets no love, 12mins of deep molassas funk in set I? I’ll take it! I wish it didn’t fade out like it did though. Nice, nice jam.

This Jones Beach 6/4 set I Ghost is the business – funkier than usual

  9. Uncle Ebeneezer Says:

  10. BrandonKayda Says:

Hey everyone! Hope these shows are killer. I am feeling a huge psychedelic Twenty Years Later at some point this weekend

  12. Bodi Says:

I’d love to see that 20 years later morph into some dark metal, something sabbathy like iron man or paranoid, or even segue into Frankenstein. They opened the metal path in merriweather saw it again, bring out hesher Trey!
