A Day Off
With another project in full-swing, I might have a few days off over the next couple weeks. Whether music or a video, however, there will always be something on the site worth checking out each and every day.

Jam of the Day:
“Tweezer” 11.11.96 II
Fast-forwarding one week from yesterday’s Gainesville “Tweezer,” here is groove fiesta from Grand Rapids, Michigan. In only eight days, one can hear a significant progression from the Perazzo-assisted rhythms to intentional and slowed-down Phish funk. Parts of this jam sound like they could be plucked from a 1997 show as the band’s new direction progressed each night of November ’96.

Winter ’97 in Europe was the final step in discovering the pocket that Phish would explore for the next few years. This show in Florence came ten days before the band’s breakthrough in Hamburg, Germany on March 1, chronicled on Slip Stitch, and Pass. This second set featured dynamic and unfinished versions of “Antelope” and “Reba,” while the first half consisted of only six songs.
I: My Soul, Foam, Down with Disease, The Lizards, Crosseyed and Painless, You Enjoy Myself*
II: Ya Mar, Run Like an Antelope** > Wilson > The Oh Kee Pa Ceremony > AC/DC Bag, Billy Breathes, Reba** > Waste, Prince Caspian
E: Character Zero
*During the “Wash Uffize Drive Me to Firenze” section of YEM, Fish exclaimed “This is a dream come true!”
** unfinished

i don’t type much. just like to read what is going on occasionally.
have a blast!!!!!!!
AMEX’s new slogan: Start Booming “booming is moving forward by giving back”.
Me: “No, its not, its hanging out with fun guys at Phish shows but that also sounds like a good idea.”
etree is back for some but not others. Apparently they didn’t pay the bill to renew their domain in time. it got paid which is why it’s back for some. It depends on your IP if it works for you yet.
Negative – I’m getting the “vacant domain name” page
Ah thanks @joemeg. Discuits will have to wait until tomorrow, I suppose.
Also me: “Start booming? Again? Ooooookaaayyyy!!”
I said what what (SP not YT).

^just realized that SP episode started while I was outside typing. Drunken syncronicity?

for a minute this place turned into mIner’s bisco thoughts… :0
:0
No idea why I’m giving vaca updates (prob cause I’ve got wifi) but were off to Doolin/cliffs of Moher in a few…4 hr drive on crazy roads….that’s been pretty fun and challenging
JTran/pLord/wholetour!: it appears that your Manchester/charleston TM tix are at my house. I can fedex on Mon when I’m back home.
As you were.
Here are two Biscuit shows from the end of their recent tour that are solid intros to the band…they are SBD FLAC from Buffalo and Boston. This torrent was exclusively made for the BB, and so it will only be active for a little while.
While the Biscuits fused trance with improvisational rock to begin with, since then their variety of genres, tempos, and feels has grown exponentially. Listen to these two shows and tell me they suck. I’ll say fair enough.
Here you go.
THX Miner! 😉
miner – got em comin in now. I’m quite interested to hear how they’ve evolved in 10 years actually. The latest Biscuits show I heard is probably from at least 5 years ago.
