Wild week, sombre night at work. First my dad. Then, last night, a waitress with whom I’ve worked since late last summer was shot and killed outside a popular bar in town. She was trying to break up a fight over money, guy pulled a gun sideways, accidentally hit her. Instead of her boyfriend.
Crazy stuff. 20 year old college girl killed over a little bit of money. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Thanks man. In and out of ICU for awhile now, several years at least. Went in again this week. Looking better tonight. COPD and more. Not good. And still I can’t quit smoking.
I was not at all close with the girl from work, but it’s still crazy. Small-ish college/retirement town. Sweet girl, everybody knew her and her family, gone. Just gone. Over some fucking money. Some said $40, some said $400. Either way. FUCK. Somebody’s life? A few hundred dollars? For fucking real? I’m basically coping by not fucking thinking about it

Thanks Pig, for real. I asked for some BB help last night, and today, he’s feeling and looking a lot better. This place might actually be magic(al). It’s definitely golden. You all are great people, the ways in which you look out for each other are awe-inspiring. Seriously. That’s from the heart, and I’m generally a private person these days.

So ive been lurking for about a year now and I have finally decided to post and I just wanted to say a few things….first, thank you Miner for this site, it truly is great to have a place where I can share my obsession for not only Phish but for music in general in an environment that is completely void of judgement…second, its been great to be able to read about the plight of others who seem to go through the same things I go through on a day to day basis, I really do find a lot of comfort in this site and I hope that I can become a part of the many discussions that take place on this board
